Hume Lake General Store

This store has everything you can imagine! This almost feels like a meanie Walmart because of how much in stock there is at the store. I mean they have outdoor stuff, car stuff, snacks, food, a lot of beverages!, They even have coffee as well as a coffee and no shake maker! They have a parallel and a lot of memorabilia you can take back home as a memory. It is also conveniently located right next to a pumping station so it is pretty awesome!

Super fun store! I have been shopping here for 30 years and I keep coming back... seems like daily. The staff will always try to help in all situations wether finding product or helping with directions. All in all it is a little slice a heaven.

Great location great people great lake store and decent fuel price

Excited when saw it still open for business. Grab some breakfast here, and of course coffee as well. There are some benches outside, which you can relax a bit while enjoying your quick bites.
There is a petrol station outside of it, which still working.

Ive been here many times, staff is always friendly and courteous.
Great stop along your travels.

Really fun employees even on a Sunday when everything is quiet! They have a cool tip jar showing where are you from... Looks like Asia is full! 😂

Very large store with food and supplies for camping. Gas station out front.

Prices were super high. Make sure to stock up on ice, drinks and food before coming to the lake. But it is convenient if you forgot something. Just expect much higher prices than any of the National park markets.

I walked in to the burger place across the street and got in line at the end of where everyone was standing. Apparently everyone was standing on the wrong side of the rope.

After Arianna took the order of the people in front of me, she rudely said that the line started “over there”. I explained that I had started in line where everyone else was standing. She looked at me like I was stupid and replied “yeah but the line starts over there”. I tried to explain again that I started behind everyone else on the left side of the rope and she raised her voice and repeated herself a third time.

She finally took my order but I’ve never been spoken to that way by a cashier. As a restaurant manager I feel for anyone working in food service but her attitude and tone was totally unacceptable.
