R.P. Lumber in Murphysboro really made my day! I went to the front desk with a 35-year old front door insulation strip and began to ask if they had this replacement part. As I was talking a brand new door insert was laying on the counter! I couldn’t have been happier. I had gone to five stores looking for this part. Many thanks to Josh and Kevin who were so friendly and efficient. Now I can restore my door to its original condition. Much appreciation for the great service.

We had trouble placing order on website so called store. They were super nice and took the order by phone. Delivered the next morning and refused the tip my husband offered for carrying the heavy lumber to the backyard. We had been buying from a big box store but will try RP Lumber first from now on.

Very helpful staff, super friendly and a quick checkout! Loved that they was playing 95.1 on the overhead, so I also got to enjoy good music while I shopped! Will definitely be back

Customer service is outstanding. Selection not quite as big as big box stores.

Becoming increasingly difficult to do business with this location. In particular the older, short, grey hair guy that has been there forever. His attitude and blatant disrespect to customers angers me to no end. Every time I go in or make a call it is him and his little man syndrome taking over. He will get a geriatric pass just like this location as I head to Lowe’s from now on. Just an independent contractor bringing thousands through that door trying to stay local, the thanks I get.
