Drew and Megan have a great store and attitude!
We have been customers since they opened and do not buy our birding supplies anywhere else. We have also bought gifts there and have been very pleased !

If you like birds, you have to see this store. We enjoy the friendly atmosphere and pleasant conversations as well as an impressive inventory of baths, fountains, chimes, seed and suet. It's worth a visit just to see the many photos of our local avian community. One of our most favorite stores!

Enjoyed our visit, got a nice bird bath with some tips on how to best set it up. Plus, talking about birds is always a blast! :)

The owners are extremely helpful and very patient. They spent about 30 minutes walking us through options for setting up feeders and were very knowledgeable on what food different birds like and when to expect certain birds. We went from no feeders/birds to now having 2 feeders with roughly 10 birds a day. Their products are affordable and high quality, 10/10 would recommend!

Love this store! The owners are so helpful and friendly. And I stepped in 15 minutes before close. Quite happy to share their experience with attracting hummingbirds and all things your outdoor space might need!!

I came in thinking that I would just peruse and see what this store offered. I was delighted by the knowledge and friendliness of the owners (who truly work in their small business). They listened to my questions and steered me in the right direction. I left with more than I expected and a list for my next visit! I am sure to have a happy bird watching cat thanks to the window cling feeder I purchased today!

Great experience! This store has everything a backyard birdwatcher could ever need, and more. The owners are very nice and you can quickly tell they are passionate about wild birds and customer service. I purchased a few large bags of mixed seeds to last me through the fall. The seed prices are slightly higher than a traditional big box store, but the quality is far superior, and no wasted fillers in their bags! I'm confident my backyard birds will appreciate the higher quality seeds and I know I got a good value for my wallet. I plan on returning!

Bird enthusiasts or whether you're just in need of anything bird related, Return to Nature is the place to go. They have everything you need, whether it's food, feeders, or houses, all the way to a nice selection of fire pits for the patio. Drew and Megan are super knowledgeable and do a great job of answering any questions you might have. The service you get at this local shop is so much more than at a big box store. Check them out!

Love this store! Lots of great gifts and things for our backyard. Really enjoyed talking to the owners. They were very knowledgeable about their products and were super kind when our 4yo. broke a bird house. They didn't make us pay for it which was very generous. We love the Breeo fire pit that we purchased. We went with the 19in. patina, and love the way it looks in our space. Will definitely be returning for another visit!

What an awesome local shop! The owners were very warm and helpful. The store has a wide selection of products as well as premium bird feeds. It was too funny to walk in and hear Leslie the Bird Nerd playing on one of the TVs. We regret not visiting this store earlier I think we are hooked.

Just noticed the store as I was driving by. Owner Drew was extremely helpful. I needed education on my first humming bird feeder. He was very knowledgeable. I will be back.

My kiddos and I visited Return to Nature for end-of-year teacher gifts. This was the PERFECT spot for something unique and special. We all had so much fun looking around and had trouble not shopping for ourselves! :) With the help of the lovely owners, we chose some cute humming bird feeders. Megan and Drew were extremely knowledgeable, kind and engaging with the kids which was sweet. I couldn’t help notice they were equally charming with all of the customers, answer questions and listening to stories with a smile. We will definitely be back! The Breeo fire pits would make an awesome Father’s Day gift!!

A wonderful, locally-owned shop for bird-and-nature-lovers. The owners, a local couple, were on hand during my visit, and both were very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and pretty much every other Scout Law virtue. The store’s focus is primarily on birds, with feeders, houses, and the supplies that go with them in abundance. They also stock Vortex and Athlon optics—the former being probably the best value per dollar spent on the market at present. The store is dog-and-pet friendly—though I didn’t ask if they draw the lines at, say, pet Komodo dragons and the larger carnivores. They answered my questions readily, and acknowledged what things they didn’t know; I was impressed by their knowledge and experience. Very highly recommend this store to all on the south side of the Kansas City metro looking for birding supplies, equipment, etc.

What a great store with wonderful owners who love to help you with all your birding and nature questions. On my first visit I purchased a feeder and Drew’s recommended seed that has attracted beautiful backyard birds galore. Heading back soon to restock on seed and check out their binoculars.

So nice to have a local bird and backyard supply store in the area. They sell anything wild-bird related such as bird food, bird baths, bird feeders, bird feeder hanging poles and hooks, books, pictures and photos, etc.
Also have noticed other outdoorsy things in store such as fire pits.
A huge selection of items and styles.

Owners are very friendly, chatty and extremely knowledgeable - Passionate about what they sell. I could get into trouble if you let me loose here too often as I would buy half the store!!! Lol

What a great new addition to Lee’s Summit! A ton of options for the bird lover’s, and a great place to get the kids interested in outdoors and well…return to nature! I love how knowledgeable the owners are not only about their products, but about how they work best depending on the migration patterns of the animals! I told my mother in law about it opening, and she can’t wait to get there and add more feeders to her Raintree community!

Ran in a few minutes before close for some emergency suet cakes. Lovely store with knowledgeable owners. Great resource for backyard bird watchers!

Great new store! Had a nice selection of all the supplies I need to keep the birds happy. Easy to tell the owners are very knowledgeable. Glad to have a new go-to store.
