Pulled over after seeing the signs on the interstate. Wow delicious boudin and cracklins. Which I would have bought more to try. Everything looked good.

I’ll admit, I’m a boudin ball snob and have tried several in the area and always return to my usual spot which is very popular in the area. We had that yesterday on our way to New Orleans. Heading home my boyfriend said what if we do something crazy and try some competition that we haven’t tried before and I found this place. What drew me in was the cream cheese jalapeño boudin balls, the fried ribs and the ribeye stuff with cream cheese and jalapeños and wrapped with bacon. They were out of the ribeye but that’s okay. We got a sampling from the hot menu. Boudin balls, cc jalapeño boudin balls, meat pies, maple boudin rolls, chicken Cracklin, loaded potato bites and the fried ribs. Everything was very tasty. The chicken cracklin and ribs bites were the star of the show. The ribs look dry and tossed in seasoning but when you bite into them they’re anything but dry and the flavor of the fried fat and seasoning explode in your mouth. The boudin is really really good as well. I can’t say better or worse than my usual spot they’re different, but if I had to make the choice to stop and get just one, I’ll come back here to pair it up with those fried ribs and chicken cracklin every time. The store was also very clean, the employees super friendly and I didn’t have to wait in line for 30-45 minutes to get it.

Other than best stop this place has it all. They have great sausage and boudin. They also have pots just in case you need one for a boil or whatever. I purchased some meat and special seasonings and they did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend.

It was open on Easter Day, which I was thankful but not happy about. Boudin on drive was good. Looking forward to trying the venison boudin later. Stuffed chicken was good, a little under seasoned but I fixed that.

Had one of their plate lunches. The ribs were delicious. They were well seasoned and falling apart, the potato salad was perfect and the rice dressing a little on the spicy side.

Their jalapeno cream cheese boudin balls are AMAZING!! The fried ribs are great, too. This is my second time visiting this location. They have become a must-have anytime I'm in Louisiana

Located near some of the greats as far as boudin and cracklins go, but don’t hesitate to try this place. The seasoning on the chicken cracklins is amazing. There are so many great things to try here! Boudin rolls are incredible! To be frank all the food here is just amazing. Located less than a minute from the interstate with room to pull through with a large camper. The parking lot exits onto a side street so don’t worry about trying to maneuver a trailer. 10/10.

Great place to stop to grab some goodies and they have folks that will help you find what you're looking for. The smoked boudin I ordered for lunch was cold but the girl tried to heat it up and it WAS good. I brought home some Spicy boudin and it was excellent!

We stopped by after having to take the back streets home from New Orleans. The smoked boudain was dee-lish! The customer service & smiling faces were appreciated. We will be back again 😊

My second trip here today. I travel this road twice a month. This will be a regular stop for me in the future. All sorts of delightful things to try! I really like this place!

I always stop here when I come through LA. We usually buy a bunch of meat here we can't always get in Texas. Frog legs and what not. This place makes my favorite spicy boudin. This time I tried their fried ribs too, I should have bought more.

While in Louisiana you have to eat boudain. Also, we had the seasoned fried cracklins and fried boudain ball stuffed with jalapeno and cream cheese, it was slap your momma, crazy delicious!!!!!

Visited a couple weeks ago passing thru for work, brought home some stuffed pork loins and pepper jack stuffed boudin balls which were incredible. Delicious

Besides excellent boudin, the loaded hot dog is the bomb! The combination of the hotdog, the chili, and onions combine with the Evangeline Made buns… try one (or two).

They have the best boudin and chicken crackings.The service was awesome and very polite will continue shopping there.

I can't even put into words how impressed I am with their smoked pork boudin. The chicken cracklins melt in your mouth and are spiced just right! I can't stop eating them. Also got the lunch plate *chef's kiss*. KARTCHNER'S IS WHERE IT AT!!!!! TAKE EXIT 97 AND GO CHECK IT OUT!!! THEY EVEN HAVE A DRIVE-THRU

The best cracklins, husband loved the hot links, and we plan on going back often.

Love this place! Friendly staff and to me they have the best selection of meat around
