I came here to get my racket serviced and the employee, Tom, was very knowledgeable and kind. He educated me about different options of how to service my racket, he has a great passion for tennis. I would recommend coming to this store.

There's no racquet-sports store better on Long Island than Solow. Extensive inventory, fast stringing, totally knowledgeable staff, and great prices make this place my go-to for all my tennis needs. Highly recommended for all levels of players.

Solow sports is the only place I would take my business on all things tennis related.
They are responsive, knowledgeable, and most importantly engaged.

Excellent experience here. I'm a tennis player slowly getting back into the game after several years with an incredibly outdated racket and injuries. The staff at Solow took all that into account and with much patience they were able to help and guide my search for a new racket. Very friendly and knowledgeable with a staff that listens to your needs.

Best tennis store in town! If I need anything I know I can come here and I am handled with care and respect. They have all products anyone would need. I am able to get the best tennis or racket sport knowledge at the store or on the phone. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Solow Sports is the best racquet sports store I’ve ever visited. Their employees are very knowledgeable in many different racquet sports including my favorite, tennis! These guys are world class stringers and always do a great job when I need it. Keep up the great work guys!!!

Great experience every time. Solow Sports carries all brands of racquets and strings and everything tennis. All the guys are incredibly knowledgeable and the best stringers around. They clearly have made me a better player. It's well worth the drive for me, and I enjoy going there.

I should have started shopping there years ago...it would have saved me a lot of money. Everyone I dealt with at Solow so far is amazing. Yesterday we picked up a new racket when Julien was there. They went above and beyond to make sure that my kid was happy. Their price was better than any of the big online retailer and Solow included a leather grip and professional (their team strings for the pros at ATP tournaments) stringing!
It's a long drive for me to the Huntington location but they really make it worth while. If you live on Long Island, you shouldn't get your tennis gear anywhere else, especially not online.

Customer Service is king here.

After a 30 year hiatus I am getting back into tennis. I researched tennis shops and was steered here by a number of sources. I had high expectations and they were far exceeded. Knowledgeable staff, large selection, and availability of demo rackets and pros to test with. Within in a few days I was back out on the courts with a rackets that was perfect for me.

Prices are very compete especially and a real bargain considering the extra service you get.

BTW, I primarily used the Huntington location, the staff at both the Huntington and Glen Cove locations were equally friendly and helpful.

I've been going there since I can remember. The staff beyond knowledgeable about Rackets and strings! They beat every price and have the best customer service at any store much less tennis store. If you ever forget something, they have all your detrails in their system to help you remember! All my students go there and we wouldn't go anywhere else, otherwise you are doing yourself a disservice!
