Russian General Store

The store is small, but filled with every Russian delight that you can think of. From fresh baked cakes and candies to smoked fish, cheeses, breads, and many of the delicious Russian canned items. It’s a little expensive, but worth the drive and worth the price.

They new carry Ukrainian champaign from various cities! This place is worth the 3 hour drive! Excellent and authentic service with amazing products! 5 out of 5 stars!

Prices are a little high, bad there's no other place in town.

Good selection of products. They have all the eastern European favorites in stock, like buckwheat, egg noodles, certain cold cuts and cheeses. Good selection of beauty products and gifts, as well as books and magazines.
The meat counter ladies are so wonderful and sweet. A great stop for all essentials!

This is a must stop every time we go to Houston. Get our Russian treats, favorite foods and Georgian wine!

The store is small, but filled in a NOT cluttered way with everything one could want.

At first I was a bit intimidated by the store considering I don’t speak Russian & I thought the people there didn’t speak English. In the store, it was peaceful & quiet. When I went to the checkout, the lady is very well-mannered & polite. (She also knows English). After my visit here, I was so glad I went there. If you’re thinking of buying from this store, I really suggest you do. It has delicious food & lots of cool souvenirs from Russia!

A very decent selection of Russian foods and trinkets. Store was medium sized. Went there for tea and Тархун soda. Compared to a Russian grocery store in Los Angeles I’ve been to, staff here are much nicer.

The deli has a great selection, and seasonings are a favorite for us.

Being first time in the store I was impressed with a huge assortment. They have a lot of teas including loose leaf, meat deli, grains, pickles, canned stuff, sweets, honey, pharmacy, souvenirs, and like huge old-fashioned library. Staff was nice and helpful.

Great store to visit for European goods and food

My boyfriend and I are from Russia & Kazakhstan and we come here often to shop. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The Food is good and reminds us of home.
The americans who come here and think there’s an attitude and/or complain do not understand the culture.

One of the best Russian stores I have ever been to. They have a wide variety of food ranging from candy to canned goods at a fair price. Not only that but you will also find fresh baked good as well as a meat counter. I bought quite a few things as well as a very nice glass which came out to around 60 dollars all together. I will definitely be coming back again and am a happy customer.

Nice selection of products mainly from eastern Europe and the former Soviet bloc.

I’m a chocolate addict and the confectionaries sold here are better than the domestic ones. I enjoy the lamb perogies and the Jerusalem sausage, I’ve been coming here for a couple years since I moved in down the street. They have an extensive library as well. In the back they have some jewelry I would definitely pay good money for. Staff are very nice; I am coming over today tbh I used to come there all the time but alas, I am too busy

This is an awesome little store! The foods and meats are genuine. The fish is fresh, it is just smoked and salted as is tradition in Russia for that type of food. Someone who has never eaten it would not understand that it is a food that requires a certain palate. I go here with some friends from Moldavia. They are a small family store, but have great quality items. I love this place and will continue to go back!!
