Look you don't go to Walmart or DG for their customer service, you go for the convenience. However, this one has the best customer service I have ever seen

In addition to that, they are super clean and are well stocked-- MUCH better than any one I've seen

I'm not sure who is running this DG, but you guys are doing a wonderful job 😊

I came to this (unclean, unstocked store) in hopes of going home in a good mood with all of my items that I had purchased... WRONG! I got home to a soiled interior bag with ALL of my items ruined. One of the cashiers that was working on the night of 03/07/2024 bagged my HAIR product with all of my other items and the liquid leaked out of the bag onto what I had my bag sitting on. I wasn't able to use ANY of my items or eat the food that I purchased with my hard earned money. I wasted time, gas and money coming to this store. The store was already closed by the time I got home, so I couldn't call or go back and get the stuff that I obviously needed. I wasn't purchasing items from the store for fun. This is the result of a careless cashier who bags food items with non food items, items with chemicals in them vs items with NO chemicals in them. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Treat others and others property the way you want to be treated and the way you would want your belongings to be treated.

I was in here earlier today, I had a very bad experience!! A very ride women named Elizabeth was the cashier that's the name on the receipt anyways, she said she was the store manager but had no name tag to prove that, I had a cart of a couple items so I put my things on the side of the counter, waited for well over 5mins!! Bye the time she came up to finally help me she was litterly moaning and whining! She she can up there, no hi or anything, all she said was don't put your stuff on the counter?! I said excuse me? I have a cart of items, then she noticed I had a cart not a basket an just kept ringing things up, very rude carrot top women! I really feel that the dollar general needs to higher proper employee's not just random trash off the street! An her smeel was off she smelled of alcohol very badly!!

I went here this afternoon to buy cat food and brought a bag of change. Got to the self checkout and started dropping all of my quarters and dimes in and the cashier came over to tell me that I was going to make her day difficult because she would have to unload the machine later. As if it wasn’t humiliating enough to have to sit there and pay in coins and hold the line up, she had to announce to everyone that I was inconveniencing her. It put me in an embarrassing position having to explain out loud that I had no other way to pay because I couldn’t afford it otherwise. I didn’t want to have to make the cashier count out my change so I went to the machine. Apparently that was a mistake.

My dad died a few months ago and paying off his afterlife expenses has been almost impossible. My mom died a couple of years before and I’m still trying to afford that. Trying to get another job, but at the moment have $0 in my bank account. I searched my house to find what I could in coins to afford food for my animals when I can’t even afford any for myself. Left humiliated and in tears.

Sorry I made your life difficult by having to unload a machine. Maybe consider someone’s life situation before you dole out judgement. Most people struggling financially aren’t holding cardboard signs on the side of the road. They try to keep on as best they can without bothering anyone.
