This is a really well designed and decorated Walgreens like no other I been to. The lights in the aisles set a more upscale fancier place. The place was organized and clean.
The location of this Walgreens is very convenient on a busy street and also on a bus stop. They also have an area near the door that you and lock up your bike!
This Walgreens had every item that I wanted. They even a have an large supply/stock of different kinds of laundry soap, paper towels and toilet paper which I wasn't expecting. They had more variety of icecream including my new favorite kind Halo top!
The cashier that I talk to was very helpful, polite and funny. She was not the only person that worked at this store that was really nice and friendly everyone was when I waked around and over heard conversations. All the employees went above and beyond on there customer service skills which gives me nice warm feelings!

First and foremost to the people who complain about wait times; this is something we could have prevented years ago if we treated the people we call "essential workers" with the kindness and respect they deserve. I blame absolutely no one for leaving their job after spending three years being screamed at, threatened, and harassed over things over which they have zero control. You want faster service? Complain to corporate. Tell them to pay their workers more. Let them know you care about the health and wellbeing of the people who give you your potentially lifesaving medication.

Getting off of my soapbox, this Walgreens location is the best in the Twin Cities.

Every single employee I have ever spoken to has been helpful, respectful, and truly doing their best in an extremely difficult situation.

Twice now I have come in less than two minutes before the pharmacy closed needing an emergency supply of my medication. Rather than making me wait until the following day the pharmacists and employees very quickly took a moment to help me. Both times I left with what I needed.

The Pharmacy staff in general has been so helpful when it comes to my medications, insurance, and communication with my doctor. They immediately fixed something on my profile that had been wrong for years making it a thousand times easier to get my prescription. The Pharmacy staff is always polite, accommodating, and patient with the customers who need extra care when they come in.

The drive-thru for the most part is fast, efficient, and comes with the same excellent service as inside the store itself. I have never had to wait longer than 15 minutes in line.

Dawn in the Pharmacy is amazing; special shout out to her dedication to her position even on the frustratingly busy days.

Really, everyone working here is great. I have seen them deal with some of the most difficult people to walk through the doors regardless of what that person may need.

Back on my soapbox to remind everyone who has never worked in customer service that there is so little the staff can control at their level. The people at this location are truly, genuinely doing their best with what they have.

It's worth mentioning too that their job is to fill your medication when it is sent in by your doctor. Not to figure out your health insurance. Not to be abused because on your end you didn't have what you needed. Not to talk to your family member over the phone because you don't know what you're there for.

Sign up for automatic texts or emails when your prescription is ready. They'll even call you if that is what you prefer.

Not sure if your medication is ready to be picked up? Instead of hurling verbal abuse to the person behind the counter for having to wait in line for nothing CALL THE STORE AHEAD OF TIME. They will literally tell you everything you need to know regarding your prescription, cost, and when it can be picked up.

I apologize for the long review but again the staff here is wonderful. If someone is having a bad day please put yourself in their shoes. Imagine spending 40 hours a week dealing with the most stressful individuals every single day. While I personally have had nothing but friendly, excellent service if there was a day you did not take a moment to remind yourself that everyone is a person. Everyone should be given the grace we give to so many others in the world.

So this is a very busy location for a pharmacy. So, upon learning this, I have decided to give myself more time or simply find a time that is normally slow and always go there at that time. To everyone complaining about the wait time, please keep in mind that this is a high volume location. AND TIME YOURSELF PROPERLY, instead of harassing the few staff that are still there to provide for us. If they shut down their pharmacy because we keep being jerks, we’re the ones that have to travel further for our meds. Also, it’s not the staff that are the problem, they simply have such a high volume. If anything, complain about the wait time and the lack of support staff is receiving to corporate not the specific location. They’re doing the best they can and it is visibly displayed every time anyone waits in line. They’re not twiddling their thumps and ignoring people. Our wait times are usually long because people didn’t come prepared and or try to argue when they are given the reasonings.

Everything else about this place is great too. Especially the variety in their make up sections.

Fantastic service from the pharmacist who was quick to answer my questions. I’ve had a lifelong condition that affects my tolerance to certain foods and beverages and the pharmacist was able to recommend an OTC product that helped with this.

PATIENCE! Some of the nicest people work here and a little patience goes a long way. If you visit here, don't plan around it, make time for it and have patience.

Great customer service now that the employee count has gone up. Cashier's are super kind and respectful. Pharmacy was able to refill prescriptions other pharmacies claimed had no refills. The only reason the store has issues with filling prescriptions and keeping up with the demands is because it's a high volume store and its obvious when the lines are long.

Today I went in for my first covid vaccine. I am squeamish and dont like needles. The shot was completely painless thanks to the employee, but I still got extremely faint. He fetched me water, and the pharmacist came to check on me. The employee who gave me the shot then stayed and talked with me until i felt well enough to leave. I appreciate their patience so much!! Glad to be in their care.

Pharmacist has been very nice and helpful even though my dad's Rx is currently at another pharmacy. People on the floor have always been very nice and helpful as well, and seem to know when additional checkout stations are needed.

The pharmacy staff is generally nice. They could be quicker at times but in general they are very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Very helpful staff. I don't remember the name of the manager but he is very nice to the customers and always answers your question. He will walk to the isle with you and help you find what you need. Everyone who works their are awesome.

I was greeted almost right away, the pharmacist took her time to answer all my questions.

Margaret & Jess were amazing and stayed late to help me get my rx filled before I leaving for vacation, great team here!!!
