Peak Performance - The Running Store

We were visiting from out of town and stopped to see what options were available for the upcoming track season. He asked a lot of questions and was very thorough in making sure she bought the right shoe for her foot. Would highly recommend!

We were helped with all our questions, had shoes recommended to us, and even had my size ordered into the store the next day. The gentleman who helped us was even kind enough to recommend the best places for trail running when I asked. We will definitely be going here again.

Such a kind and welcoming environment! I had NO clue what I was doing when it comes to picking out a pair of running shoes. The young lady helping me was SO INCREDIBLY kind and super knowledgeable! I felt very comfortable through the whole fitting process and she even offered some races and trails to look into trying. Thank you Peak Performance. I will definitely be back!

Pros:
-Staff is extremely helpful and go through a full biometric check of your running form (I’ve seen a few running stores do this, but they were very informative with theirs)
- Shoe organization is very helpful when it comes to arch support/type and use
-Store has an arrange of different running gear/protection and supplements.
-Staff is also very patient and nice.
-Rewards program
-biodegradable bags (ignore that, that’s a bias 😅)

Cons:
-shoe color arrangement isn’t that large, but its enough to find the right shoe for you. So if you’re looking for more of a shoe with style to it, this isn’t really the place. However, when it comes to exercise they will have the shoe for you.

I am a physical therapist and I have been buying my "running" shoes here for probably 20 years starting at the Cass st. Location. I also refer my patients here for the amazing staff and expertise. I just bought my 12 year old his first pair of adult running shoes here. I knew from my wn experience that it was going to be a very high level of service. I was still amazed at the time they took to ensure my son had a well fitting and supportive shoe that was appropriate for his gait dynamics. I also, for the first time, had to exchange a pair of my own shoes because of a slight difference in sizing in the same model shoe. After 4 days of gentle wear they still were willing to exchange for the appropriate size. I cannot recommend them enough!

The gentleman was great. I had leg pain and foot, which made it hard for me to walk and stand without pain. After assessment he talked to me about my left foot rolling inward, which caused my knee pain. And my arches were different on my feet. He tried a couple shoes that did not solve the problem. He told me I needed to see my orthopedic Dr. Or have therapy first. It would not change my problem to buy shoes. I really appreciated the honesty. As soon as I get this better, I definitely will be back to buy shoes. Most stores just want to make a sale. Thank you so much.

I have been to plenty of shoe stores but this is the first place that has actually helped me find what I NEED rather than what I think I need. I work long hours on my feet, so they’re hurting at the end of the day.

The man helping me, put in the time and care to evaluate my gait, assess comfort level, how I balanced, etc. I was so impressed by his knowledge of the different types of shoes/models and their benefits. I didn’t feel like he pressured me into buying a certain kind which is a new thing for me.

I will definitely be back and be recommending this place to everyone!!!

I am not a runner but I am a nurse who works 12+ hours on my feet. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information about the best shoes for me. They were also patient while I tried out several different types of shoes. I will definitely be buying my next shoes from them and have told others to go there too. PS. I went with the Asics gel nimbus 18 and they are AMAZING!

I was suffering from foot pain a few months ago and decided to go to Peak Performance after not having much luck with physical therapy. The gentleman working there at the time did a full analysis of how I stood, walked, and ran. He determined that I needed a shoe with more inner support as well as being a size and a half bigger. I purchased the shoes he recommended and have not had any foot problems since. These guys know what they are talking about when it come to the right shoe and I HIGHLY recommend buying shoes there over any other sporting goods store.

Professional staff, reasonably priced running shoes and accessories, good return policy, and provide military discount. Location is in a nice little plaza and the store itself is neat and orderly. Highly recommend them, even before ordering online (prices were the same as all the online stores when I researched) since they can help with gait analysis, fitting, and great return policy versus hit or miss ordering online.

Very polite and energetic staff. I was in and out much faster than I expected and with great shoes. This is the second pair of running shoes I bought there and I was pleased both times. I will definitely buy my next pair there too.

I came back to see Chris because he is so knowledgeable. I was hurting so bad because I bought Birkenstocks online that didn't fit.
I bought a pair here (all suede uppers) Chris was trying to help many people at once & I got more information on my sore legs & he referred me to Behm Chiropractic & Adam dry needled my calf & worked my ankle...what relief! Didn't try & schedule me for more services....what honest people...& Chris too!
Just counseled with a vascular surgeon & now I don't think I'll need him Jayne Eden Bellevue, Ne.

We went there to get shoes for my mother-in-law who is in her 80s. She loves the personal attention where they help put your shoes on, go to the back to get more shoes and get a shoe that fits the way she walks. It is done the way she remembers shoe shopping years ago. They also have higher end shoes that are not in the find it yourself shoe stores.

Very good experience. Did an analysis of my stance & stride. Recommended a few shoes that met my profile & found what seemed like the perfect fit. Can't wait to get out & use them!

Absolutely amazing!!!! Best experience shopping I've ever had!!!! The employee was extremely professional and more knowledgable then my physical therapist when it came to what was causing my foot injurys/what shoes I really needed for how I run (he didn't pick the most expensive ones on the shelf either). This store will forever make running more enjoyable for me! Thank you so much!

Wouldn't go anywhere else! For those of you who think (like I used to) that a shoe is just a shoe.... They will open your eyes. We were referred to Peak Performance last year for my daughter, who is in Cross Country. She had been having knee issues and needing to wear knee support bands, however, after her gait, stride being analyzed was recommended a specific type of shoe category to fit her needs, and she was able to quit wearing the supports! (they even pulled shoes out of her "category" that wouldn't provide as much support where she needed it - VERY knowledgeable and helpful) We will be back every season. Thank-you!

Last Monday was my first time getting fitted for a pair of running shoes. The staff that assisted me was extremely knowledgeable and had me in a new pair of shoes in no time. This pair of shoes has cured all of my running ailments, who knew it was that easy?
