He's always open! Very knowledgeable about areas to fish and what you actually need for your next fishing trip! Even stayed at the inn he has! Plenty of room available for multiple people!!

You have to love a small-town bait shop. Took the kiddos fishing and only had my debit card. This place only takes cash. He gave me the bait and tackle I needed and told me bring the money later. You can't get that kind of hospitality at Walmart.

Jack is the best in my book he is always there to help he is always friendly treats everyone the same like he's known you for years we ask him what the walleye are hitting and where's the best place to start him and his son always puts us right in the fish it's like the are right there in the boat with you could never say anything bad about jack and his son great people

They treated my dad and I like we were natives. He rescues cats and that is a huge plus in my books and I wish I could give ten stars. His service was awesome and he stayed open for my dad and I! I would definitely recommend!!! This isn’t field and stream, it’s a family owned old school bait and tackle shop that cares! Thanks guys , we will be back all weekend and many times after!

Great guys here. Joe an his son are very friendly and make sure to point you in the right direction as far as tips and where to go. Had 3 fish to clean one day and Joe cleaned them for free. Customer for life

Jack is the proprietor of this establishment and is a cornucopia of knowledge and information about fishing. It's a good place to get tackle and bait I highly recommend it.

Easy parking even with bigger boats. They are straight and to the point when you ask them for help. If you call them they have a recording that updates you on the weather and fishing. It's updated almost everyday.
