I stopped by to purchase a PlayStation 3 console with some games. Josh and the entire Rocktown Games team were very helpful, patient, and pleasant during the purchase process. Fair prices and trade-in quotes. Knowledgable staff.

I always try to visit the store every now and then for that retro gaming nostalgia. Never fails. Highly recommend!

It's so great to have a video game store in Harrisonburg again! I started going into Rocktown Games about a year ago and since then it seems like every time I go in there is more inventory. I don't think I've ever left empty handed. Eric, and Josh have always been helpful and seem to always be making improvements to their space.

In the world of ebay I missed going to a real store and browsing/buying in person. I've also seen stores in the past that sell all their best inventory online to turn it quickly. Not the case at Rocktown. I can wishlist items and they will call me, but if I just stop in I always see something good at a fair price.

Excellent Professional Service: I recently had an issue with returning a non-working game and was initially unhappy with how the exchange was handled by the staff. But they responded quickly and fixed my frustrations completely; they went above and beyond what was expected to make it right and apologize for the mistake. Great store with really cool inventory and friendly staff. Highly recommended store for retro and new gaming.

Rocktown Games is more than a store for video games. You feel the friendly atmosphere when you walk in. Any questions or needs? They’ll jump right on it for you. They also have a vast selection of retro games and accessories/collectibles. I’m somewhat of a regular there and every single time I’ve been in there it’s been nothing less than excellent. And the employees have a lot of personality, which makes them a pleasure to do business with. I love the store and the employees and I would highly recommend it to any gamer looking to buy.

This is one of the best game stores I've ever been to. The staff was really nice and they seemed passionate about the hobby. I got a great deal on some TurboGrafx games I've been wanting for a while and would have bought a ton more if I had the money. I really wish I lived closer so I could stop by all the time!

Rocktown Games took very good care of me while being down in Virginia! I haven't received hospitality like this from a video game store in a very long time. I cannot wait to return to NJ to try out my new games. Thank you Eric & Ace for all your help! You Rock!

Very great people and so helpful! I bought a ps2 from them and had an issue with the memory card and a controller. They swapped it out for a new controller and memory card and everything is works! Now I can now relive my childhood! Once again great people and can’t wait for them to grow.

They offer more money for your video games than gamestop does I highly recommend you going there instead of Scamstop
