Citarella Gourmet Market - Bridgehampton

Everyone here works their butts off all year long and I can’t imagine it’s easy. I’m leaving this review though specifically for Hector, Errol and the entire seafood department who are always warm, kind and helpful. The volume of customers they deal with is immense and they manage to keep a positive attitude…well done.

Amazing market not to be missed because it is purely what America is all about the food economy and the diversity of Excellence of palate and desire

Wonderful cuisine and the makings for such at the Hamptons premium.

If you are wealthy then you will probably love this store.

If not you may catch yourself figuring out how long you have to work in order to cover a purchase.

There was once an I.G.A. on this property. They had an amazing kitchen and they were reasonable.
Progress Marches mercilessly on.

Fell in love with this shop...fresh baked bread, fresh fish, deli chicken (delish!) and very organized and clean! Evidently popular at lunch tme.

Nice+clean, tons of parking, always well-stocked. Lots of helpful staff. Lines move fast. I like to arrive here after 6pm, when it's not as busy. Great selection of organic produce. Pricey, so not for the weekly shop, just get things that really make the meal sparkle. Great fish selection!

They have high quality stuff at Citarella. Prime beef, great seafood, and an excellent salad bar. They also have very nice pastries and baked goods, pizza, rotisserie chicken and duck, gourmet snacks, chocolates, and lots of juices/beverages. Prices are high.

Always a great stop, whether for groceries or prepared meals. The pizza is very good, and recently we tried the quiche Lorraine to bring home for breakfast. Often busy but they manage crowds very professionally!

The best baked goods! I always stop by when I'm in the area. Everything is so fresh and delicious from the baked goods to the hot buffet foods and pizza. It's a bit crowded inside from the layout to the amount of people shopping, so it may seem a bit difficult to maneuver through if you're using a wheelchair or mobility scooter. There is plenty of parking and tons of staff to help.

From outside it does not look big but when in side the variety and selection is too notch. Hi-end restaurant quality with the freshest of about anything plus a pizzeria on the inside. It's not cheap but if your in the area you don't expect it to be. Local inhouse chefs and restaurants in the area use them. A must stop for a break, a bite or lunch, snack, dessert, ingredients, gifts and more

Great place to get quality food. It's been around for years and the quality just keeps getting better and better. Obviously the prices go with the quality meaning it is expensive, but totally worth it. You can find prepared ready to eat food or fresh sea food to cook and all types of groceries.

The best, high quality products for the kitchen, the food prepared is tasty and not to mention the attention and service.

Citarella started as a fish monger / purveyor and have always been known for their fresh seafood. This Gourmet Market has it all from prime meats, fresh produce, pastas, huge selection of prepared food which changes with the season, coffee, hot foods and pizza, deli, dairy and fresh bakery goods and pastries to die for. You'll pay more here but it's worth the money.

I had heard of Citarella as some sort of Shangri-La of gourmet grocery stores that existed somewhere out in the Hamptons and when I actually saw one, I had to stop and see if they were worth the hype. I was pleasantly surprised.

I actually stopped at two Citerellas on the same day (the other one was in East Hampton and it was much smaller). This location was very large for a store in the Hamptons and I found the selection to be excellent. Beyond the usual fresh baked goods and bread (I got a loaf of Pumpernickel), they have a huge selection of cheese, fresh veggies, and a fresh fish counter that rivals anything else I've seen on the island. I also noticed that they carry their own label of several staples like pasta sauce in a surprisingly large selection of flavors.

I was also pleased to find more than just the usual selection of diet soda which is how I secretly judge a stores selection. Overall, you can find the usual, the unusual, and something special here.

Love this place everyone who's anyone in the Hamptons visited this store one time or another pricey but worth every Dollar.thwy have all ur fine eats .seafood is so fresh.produce is top shelve always an don't forget the soup bar best soups in Hamptons by far. we use this place all the time YEAR round LUV the sweets 2 cakes r outrageous

It is everyone's go to place for a reason! Best dry aged steaks, tasty prepared foods, great selection of cheeses.

A step up in quality you pay for it. Patrons need to realize they are not in NYC anymore. Fresh. When you hear the name one thinks of sushi, chicken and salads with a smile.
