Subway, propane gas tank exchange and ice machine available. They closed early on Halloween 🎃 evening, at seven. They would resume normal hours the next day. Pumps were, thankfully, still on.

Forcibly denying sale if you don't let them scan your ID instead of taking two seconds to type the date into the system. Here's a hint, not everyone wants their ID scanned and we have a right as consumers for that privacy. Your made up policy is not a LAW. The "policy" is not posted anywhere in the store and your wrong. Young entitled male with glasses, rude, power tripping and argumentive. Called the stupid number on the door to report and all you get is an answering service, leaving a message does nothing, no call back.

How the young gentleman with glasses not only handled the transaction but spoke to me in front of customers is the reason people write reviews because I know nothing else could be done and in hopes he will understand how he made someone feel in that moment.

I tried to pump gas outside on a Friday which is pay day, declines twice says to come inside okay no worries. He addresses me in the line as oh you’re the one that declined? (Not an issue but imagine how that would of went over at a medical setting or any other setting where people don’t want you to know if it declined) he already came off as not personable which was not an issue either. He asked how much I wanted on there again, $10 please, slides card says APPROVED (which he should realize at that moment it wasn’t a decline more like a glitch obviously cus there was plenty money) with printed receipt of said $10. Thanked him kindly and went to go back out to pump where it says see cashier, which was confusing. Go all the way back (as I’m trying to avoid contact you know because it’s a pandemic) he had two receipts printed out and said I somehow canceled it and that all he can show me is these two receipts. Which not only tells me this has happened before but he was already on the defense when it was over gas. I didn’t understand what transpired at that moment but asked him okay what do I do now I still need gas? He proceeded to let me figure it or or worse assume I was overcharged when I wasn’t, I had my phone out showing the $10 was pending and he made it seem I had to pay another $10 when all I had to do was re slide my card to finish transaction. Not at one point did he help me try to understand so that I could just continue to pump gas, he could tell I was confused and even if it was canceled I literally asked him okay what do I do now to get gas, can I still get $10? He was just shrugging the whole thing off rather than just say there’s a misunderstanding you just need to slide your card for the only transaction, but no he wanted it to make it seem I had to charge another $10 and that I had to call my bank. Which there was no other charge, I had to reslide my card to finish the first and only transaction. Imagine how smoother that conversation and a paying customer would have been if he had just said that?!? Mind you the fact my card got declined outside and then announced inside but then approved was wrong. Don’t assume why a pump outside got declined when it approved fine inside, announce it to the whole store when it won’t say approved. But the way he made not only me and the people behind me uncomfortable because I just wanted gas at that point, I didn’t even care if it was the overcharge at that point just that I needed more gas and he goes I told you to slide your card twice. knowing I just wanted to understand what happened, I shouldn’t have even had to go inside to begin with but to have that much power over someone during chaos in this world all over gas... is just disappointing. I was calm, never swore or yelled and I was actually really desperate to get out and get gas he was literally like well you can figure out what’s going on on my computer rather than just being a employee helping a customer lol

he’s immediate reaction should be how can I help this young women rather than be against her, and I’ve never experienced that of all places with a simple transaction. I hope he understands how he made me feel and maybe he had a stressful week at work like Many people but the redirection in that transaction was more on my side being the customer, sad over $10. At a place people will always need gas so he could careless how he treats customers and the other one in concord the girls are always the nicest.
