A Beautiful Place to Be

Our first experience with paddle boarding for our family of 6. Heather gave us great instruction and all the gear we needed. We had an amazing time. Heather is one of the most genuinely kindest people I have met. Will definitely return!!! Loved it! 😍

The first day of our trip my kiddo uttered the words “I’m bored”…words you do not want to hear while on vacay lol I called down to the gift shop and spoke with Heather, she set us up with paddle boards and several other activities to keep us busy during our stay. We enjoyed paddle boarding so much we went out several times during our stay. She also had craft boxes which we took advantage of during the evenings when we were ready to settle down but needed something to occupy my daughter, I enjoyed them too! Heather goes above and beyond for her clients and is such a sweetheart. Her many activities kept us busy during our entire stay. Thank you Heather! We will be back 🙂

I have no clue where to begin, I mean it was amazing and so simple. My husband and I were walking around familiarizing ourselves with Lago Vista and we bumped into Heather, she offered to take a picture for us because the view was beautiful. Later to find out about her shop which she offers lots of options to do around the island like paddle boarding, fishing, disc golf, and more. She was so sweet and so attentive. It was our first time paddle boarding and she definitely helped and was so flexible with us. She’s incredibly sweet and makes sure to inform you of everything you need to know. Even made sure we we’re hydrated in the sun. I CANNOT WAIT TO COME BACK. She helped make our little getaway smooth and enjoyable. Next time we will definitely be doing more!

Heather was amazing! She helped us with paddleboard and gave us a lot of advise on how and where to paddleboard. Also, she stayed back and took pictures while you're out on the water. Definitely 10/10 and highly recommend.

Wow! What great a day! Heather was a huge help with planning activities for our annual girls trip. She made our experience that much better. Her hospitality is unmatched and she is an incredible asset to the island. You must find her first when arriving at the island.

I reached out to Heather about a week before my visit to Austin and she was wonderful.

Our group size was 14 and she made sure everyone had a paddle board or kayak ready for the visit. She was extremely organized and we had a great time on Lake Travis because of her.

She packed us snacks and Bluetooth speakers and just went above and beyond for our group. I definitely plan to visit her shop again if I return to Austin!

We had a great time paddle boarding with our dog! Special thanks to Heather who provided all the additional essential things we haven't thought about like shoes, phone case, snacks, drinks. So organized and caring. I and my dog managed to flip over so the case totally saved my phone. Really appreciate the service and experience. Would definitely come back.

This is the most fun place on Lake Travis to rent paddle boards, fishing gear, tennis equipment and more! Heather gives you a VIP experience and is very thorough in her instructions, safety and the whole experience. Located at the Island on Lake Travis it is a gorgeous place to hop on a paddle board and explore the lake. She provides the life vests, water shoes and even waterproof cases for your phone. If you have kids she has plenty of activities for them too! A must stop shop in Lago Vista!

My Friends and I decided to go paddle boarding and rent a water hammock last minute so when I found “A beautiful place to be” we were so excited! As soon as I called Heather picked up and she literally gave me the best customer service I have gotten in years. The process is super easy, just book through her website and sign the waiver and Heather personally helps you get everything. The rental shop is actually located in a condo community so you weren’t crowded by other people. Heather also gave us good tip on were you go and what to see. I highly recommend booking with her and if I’m ever back in lago vista I absolutely will! Thank you again Heather!!

Meeting Heather was the highlight of our time at Lago Vista. She set us up to play pickle ball, paddle board, and more, and watched out for our safety. Heather made our girls trip to the Island an absolute blast! She is so sweet and helped us with fun activities. We went paddle boarding and it was such a great time. My boyfriend and I went paddle boarding and it was an amazing experience! The weather turned out perfect and the staff were super friendly and helpful! This is a must do when staying at the island of Lake Travis! They even took a cute Polaroid of us that we got to keep! Everyone was super kind and Heather was a joy to talk to!

Heather rented us some pickle ball rackets. I called the phone number and she met us to get what we needed. We had a blast and the rackets were very nice. Will definitely be back and rent from her again.
