Adorable, eclectic, authentic and super-hygge (if you don’t know what that means, go to the store to find out)! The staff was friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. I wish we had a branch in SF.

What a unique and unexpected place! Very fanciful store with decor, household goods, and consumables from many European countries. The lady that works here has been working here for decades and was so kind and just fun to talk to. Definitely worth checking out this store. Prices are definitely high, but most items are incredibly unique and I cannot imagine you can easily obtain them elsewhere.

Great shop. My wife and I come here to find all the things we miss from Scandinavian countries. We spend too much money here when we visit. They have lots of Norwegian, Icelandic, and Swedish treats. They have a great assortment of books, trinkets, and holiday items for gifts. They have some specialty candies from Norway, Denmark, Germany ( and more) that are worth trying! Grab yourself some salted black licorice!

The best store for a wide variety of high quality Scandinavian housewares, woven goods, holiday wares, and so much more. Love coming here, could spend at least an hour looking at all the items! I especially love their Swedish kitchen towels, beautiful and last a long time. Highly recommend stopping here!

Lots of cute things inside here. Great gift items for friends and family. They offered a wide variety of Scandinavian foods, though I didn't see many bakery items on this trip. Plenty of candy, fish, jellies and jams, handmade candles, and more. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The most fun place to shop for excellent quality products, china, glass, kitchen goods, Scandinavian food items and so much more. Spend some time here and you will find gifts for babies to grandparents! A real joy. I have been shopping here for 5 years and always find something new and interesting . Go and enjoy!

This is an awsome little shop! They have beautiful gifts all imported from authentic Northern European countries. They also have imported food stores and cheeses. I've bought many a loved jewelry gift for my wife over the last ten years!

I’ve been seeing this cute shop every time we pass by Gulf Gate and today finally I got to see it for myself. They have huge selection of souvenirs, to home decors, baking wares, and FOODS from different Scandinavian countries. The owner was gracious to give us a free taste of Danish Kringle and it was SOOO good we ended up buying the Strawberry Shortcake. They have Swedish Meatballs, too so I guess we won’t be buying to Ikea anymore. Will be back again. This shop is a go-to when you’re in Sarasota.

I love this shop! The Kringles brought us in and we left with little Scandinavian wooden birdies, swedish dishcloths and a few other treasures. Friendly staff. We'll definitely return!
