Whats Hype

First visit was today and I walked out with two pairs. “Horizon Jade 5’s” and “Run The Jewels Dunks”. Very happy with the price I paid. They gotta make their money but they don’t do it by taxing the hell out of you. Kyle, Tyler and the third guy I didn’t catch his name were very helpful without being annoying like mall stores. They had an answer for every question I had. I stuck around for over an hour after my purchase just to chop it up with these guys. VERY PLEASED!!! I’ll be a regular for sure!!!

If you consider yourself a sneaker head, or even just a fan of shoes this place is a must!! I drive almost 2 hour out of my way for this place just because it’s one of the best shops in the state. Brandon Tyler or Clayton will absolutely make sure you’re taken care of no matter what your need is!

i run my own sneaker business as well, however i decided to give WhatsHype a shot and i went in with almost 25+ pairs and they bought every single one from me…offered me reasonable pricing 1,000% more than what i initially thought i’d receive for them…absolute 10/10 experience

Easily one of the best sneaker stores in metro det. Used selection normally priced very fair. Sometimes they run great deals even on new. But their selection is always amazing

Amazing selling experience! Locally I’ve visited similar stores to sell shoes but doing business with those stores was a nightmare. However, Whats Hype was the complete opposite. They had by far the most friendly staff I’ve ever experienced at a shoe store, led by their owner Tyler. From start to finish he stayed engaged and was upfront in terms of what he pays per shoe. I didn’t purchase anything, but just looking around you could see this is a MUST VISIT store for any shoe enthusiast. All shoes were in beautiful condition and wrapped in plastic. This place is great, I highly recommend this business and appreciate all of Tyler’s assistance. I will be returning as a customer and I recommend anybody who is looking for the same great experience to visit as well.

Honestly, nothing bad to say about this place. 3 months ago, I came in here looking for a pair of shoes to wear for a wedding, and bought them from Tyler, who also gave me a fair price on a pair I was trying to sell, and recently I went back and worked out a trade with Brandon for a different pair. These guys are great, and I am definitely coming back!

Cool staff! Got to discuss the culture all the way from like 2008, got a good deal on a pair of DS shoes and walked out becoming a soon to be returning customer. Inventory is nice, nice lay out and flow

I bought a few things from Whats Hype, A MCM bag and a Chrome Hearts hoodie the prices were reasonable and overall the experience was amazing I was able to try things on inside before I made my mind up what to purchase, most resell stores in the community dont have changing rooms but they looked out for me and let me try it on, they truly do look out for their customers and thats why I rate Whats Hype a 5 star I recommend stopping by there is so much stuff they have not posted on their instagram that are eye catching I felt like a kid in a candy store😂 ❤

Had the pleasure of stopping into Whats Hype yesterday! To set the background story, this weekend I’m getting married and I ran into a slight emergency as my outfit for our welcome drinks is not going to arrive on time. After doing some research I headed up to Whats Hype to attempt to secure a few pieces to help revamp my attire for our welcome drinks. The boys there are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and took it upon themselves to help me get back on track to locking in a fresh fit for the occasion all without breaking the bank😎. This store has so many grails and everyday wears. Their prices are reasonable and the shoe knowledge of the owners is outstanding. Plan on shopping here way more often!!!

Awesome store with excellent customer service! Great atmosphere with a wide selection of sneakers, streetwear, and pop culture items. Tyler helped me let go of 4 pairs of sneakers I no longer wanted. Would definitely recommend.

Such a great atmosphere and experience! I am pretty clueless about shoes as a mom but my kids are super into the latest. The team at WhatsHype was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They took the time to review as many pairs of shoes that came in my sons size and they had excellent options. They ended up having the perfect pair of Jordans! Highly recommend this as a must stop if you are into unique shoes and gear.

My son and I stumbled upon this shop while hunting for a pair of shoes he’s been dying to get.. these guys had the exact pair he was looking for and they came in below market value! Not only did they lace HIM up, I even found a pair for myself! We’ll definitely be making weekend trips to our new favourite shoe store.

I Just picked up these shoes from WhatsHype and I am very pleased leaving here today. These 4 guys were really professional and serviced me in a respectful manner when I Asked questions, not to mention how cool it was . They also cleaned my shoes for me!!. For a new store opening I sure was impressed ! It’s 100% recommended to visit WhatsHype !!!!!
