Peacock Wine & Spirits

We were passing through Sparta and stopped here to stretch our legs before the next part of our journey and we decided to have a look. We were amazed at the vast variety of spirits and merchandise for purchase. Beautiful and clean store with a very nice cashier.

Nice new store! Huge selection. Very clean. And they carry Apparition Apple Moonshine

Very nice place with a great selection, but even better I found their staff pleasant and helpful!

This place is huge! Great selection of moonshines and everything else. I had a good time just looking at all the different alcohol they had.

Friendly staff and great selection

Stopped in here while in the Sparta area to check out their bourbon selection. The staff were friendly and very helpful and they did have a great selection.

Unbelievable selection for such a small town

The absolute best makers mark private select I've ever had... And I've tried a lot. This is the only place to get it. Sometimes allocated options are a bit over priced, but I'm not usually in the market for those... So it's not a big deal.

Not cheap ice but the super friendly service made up for it. They had a clever valentines sign up when I went in that made me smile and ultimately want some vodka... so I bought that while I was there too. Wish I had a photo of the sign, I forget what it even said.

Sparta has a broad and diverse population of alcoholics. If the clerks are busy, there will be someone in there trying to convince you, that Takka is smooth and not to pricy.

Very good selection and very clean store. The employees are extremely helpful and the prices are not too bad. Also a convenient location that is easy to get in and out of.

Love how much they have grown since their early days from the first tiny little location. Now that they have renovated the old Rite Aid, and it looks fantastic inside and out and they carry a good selection across the board. Price wise they seem to be on par with most other places I've been to in the surrounding areas.

It's a nice place I clean neat and tidy everything you could ever want.

LARGE selection of different wines and liquors. Friendly service and great atmosphere. I especially liked seeing all the different brands of alcohol with collectable sets and unique bottles. Very affordable and they also have a humidor.
