I adore this place and the people in it.

The first time I visited, it was a cold Raleigh morning and immediately upon entering, the aroma of freshly-made coffee and the delicate creak of the well-worn hardwood flooring made me feel welcomed and connected. Their hot chocolate game is on point, and I left feeling warmed in spirit. It was like a cozy nook on the outskirts of the city.

The second time, I visited on a summer morning to grab a breakfast bite and some drinks to go. The staff are all kind and make a true effort to connect with their customers, and their breakfast biscuit "Sammy" was a perfect blend of flaky, buttery, and hearty.

They carry a wonderful mix of small business and locally-owned food and grocery items, both refrigerated and non, and you won't find a major national brand on the shelves.

I will support them as frequently as I can. The world needs places like this!

Went here on a food tour and absolutely loved it! Their chips and salsa, tamales, and little bread with goat cheese and micro greens veggie mix on top was delicious. The drink, purple rain, I recommend to get! Was delicious as well. They have amazing items here and everyone was so nice! I wouldn't have known about this place without the tour. Next time we visit Raleigh I'm definitely going to pick some items!

This place is AMAZING. They have such a good selection of produce, local food items, local art, vases, great drink selection! It’s so quirky and in the cutest location. Can’t wait to go back! I got some cool chopsticks, vegan tamales from Soul Cocina, lavender flowers, a flavor of a Big Spoon Roasters bar I haven’t had, and a French Fog and I’m obsessed!!!

This place is a hidden gem and their matcha is so good. I ordered a lavender matcha with oatmilk and it was lovely! I saw the employee using a bamboo whisk which is a bonus!! They have a food menu and other drinks on the menu that I'll have to come back to try.

Cool little eclectic spot for beer, coffee, and food. They also have groceries, records, chatchkies, and art... good indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend a Guinness with a shot of cold nitro coffee (brewed on site)!

Very cool little coffee place that has a locally sourced menu that includes an avocado based “salsa”. Great Mexican Chocolate (chocolate with a hint of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove) locopop too!

Rebus Works is my favorite market/cafe in Raleigh plus they host great pop-up food vendors like Linzee's food. Rebus Works baristas are super friendly and helpful. I enjoy perusing all the food & beverages they have from local vendors and producers. 🔥🔥🫧

I stopped in for a coffee, but decided to try an egg sandwhich for breakfast. The food was great, the coffee was awesome, and the owner was incredibly kind. This is my favorite "hidden gem" coffee spot in Raleigh. If you've never been, I'd suggest giving it a look!!

Good coffee, good pastries, great service. Snug and tidy little shop with tons of goodies to sell. Poocher friendly.

Shonna is the best, this quirky corner store is so rich in human connection in an increasingly disconnected world. They have a farmers market every Saturday and you can get your eggs and milk and coffee here any weekday. Also sometimes they have fun events like wrestling.

Plenty of parking. Large variety of groceries (including fresh produce)for such a small space. Reasonably priced coffee. Large variety of sandwiches. I don't know if they're all available gluten free. They sell records, books, Turkish coffee makers, insulated lunch holder, thermos for coffee. Cute and very informal space. Lots of outdoors eating space.

1,000,000/10, this place is the best! My favorite local grocery/coffee spot in downtown. They have accommodations for so many food allergies and diets, their lox and tomato breakfast sandwich is amazing.

The Works sandwich is amazing. The bread it’s on is literally incredible, who makes it??? Coffee is stellar too. Service was super friendly and down to earth and the groceries are fun to look at! I’m coming back!

I love all the great local foods I can get in this shop. The building and grounds are delightful! I drank the lavender lemonade and it was amazing - the lavender was a subtle hint of flavor and not that overwhelming soap flavor. The proprietor was so sweet and friendly! Located in a community full of history, this is a must stop by if you're in the area!
