finally! an asian market within walking distance! i live in primarily hispanic neighborhoods and while its been awesome having access to traditionally hispanic groceries, ive definitely been on the hunt for an asian market as a south east asian myself.

siam market's entrance is discreet and easy to miss. it's an orange door overlooking a short driveway between auto shops and warehouses, across cafe vita. for safety during covid times, they take your temperature and offer hand sanitizer before you enter. it's a small space but fully stocked with mainstay ingredients & frozen foods in thai cuisine!

ive never tried to cook thai food but now that i know this grocer is here (with very competitive prices), i feel like i have access to cooking a whole new cuisine with siam market in walking distance! i didn't find exactly what i was looking for BUT i found many new authentic ingredients & snacks to try and use in my cooking.

the staff is extremely friendly and even asked for feedback on what they should stock next. they've only just opened and i can't wait to continue to support them!

This place is sooo good. Been looking for a good Thai grocer since moving to Bushwick and this place is perfect. Have all the pantry staples along with a good frozen/fresh selection. Owners are very kind and helpful.

Discovered from Too good to go and I bought extra stuff aside from the bag. Kitty was absolutely amazing. Made me feel at home in the store! Explained how to make Tom yum soup properly, and her own preference with fried rice. Even let me try the soup base before I bought! I love shopping at local stores with my whole heart and will be going back!! Told almost everybody I know about this store. It’s clean it’s organized, it’s a must!!!

My fiancé kept telling me about how amazing this place was, and we finally went in together. This amazing business is family run, and every one of the staff we've met is so enthusiastic about what they carry. Not only do they offer Asian groceries that are hard to get elsewhere, but they will offer you creative and traditional culinary insight and give great advice on how to get the most out of the ingredients they carry. They carry staples and fun snack foods alike. It's located in a very industrial building, and you kinda feel like you're in on a secret spot, but hopefully it will get more and more popular, because this business deserves to thrive! It's definitely something special.

Absolutely love this place! It so small and cute, but I literally wanted to buy everything. I think I ate my Lays seaweed chips and green tea Kit Kats within an hour of buying them. The employee that helped us was so wonderful, providing us with tons of recommendations. From his suggestion, we got all of the ingredients for Pad Thai, which turned out as an amazing homemade dish.

I specifically went to this store because I was trying to buy fish balls and I wasn't trying to go all the way to sunset park. Found my fish balls and more! Most, but not all of their products were SE Asian - some of them are super hard-to-find elsewhere. Also this place is super affordable.

The store was a little hard to find (the store is in a warehouse) but there was a big sign on the sidewalk which helped. Note, their usual business is wholesale, but they're now selling a selection of their items to individual customers.

Before I entered the store they took my temperature, then they gave me a short introduction to some of their products. They were super helpful! I don't usually cook Thai food so it was helpful to hear how to use specific items. Definitely going here again!

I had a great experience here! I came in looking for Thai basil for a dish I wanted to cook, and the man and woman at the store gave me more recipe tips and were both very friendly. I'm shy and don't usually like talking to people in the store, but somehow they made it feel easy. I was even offered Kitty's phone number to text if I needed any help making the dish!

Absolutely fantastic market. Came in for a few ingredients to make dumplings and left with bags full of things I didn't know I wanted.

The guy running the place was welcoming and friendly too, and made some fun cooking suggestions. There aren't a ton of Asian super markets in this corner of Williamsburg or Ridgewood, let a lone a place that stocks Thai ingredients. A great spot whether you're looking for inspiration, need something specific, or just want some unusual junk food.

Really wanted to find some spring roll papers in Brooklyn and came upon this market on google they have those and sooooo much more. WHAT A NICE SURPRISE! It’s a little hidden but the owners are so kind and directed me where to go when I called them lost... so for new customers... look for the orange door!

This little hidden market has everything you need from packaged food goods to sauces, ingredients and even fresh Thai vegetables that can come frozen or fresh. The owners were so helpful, informative and kind—offering their own recommendations and chatting with me about my past time spent in thailand. 100% recommend, will come back when my supplies run out.

This charming little market was an amazinggg shopping experience. I drove 50 mins to get here and I wasn’t thrilled about it, but when I got here, it was worth it. The owners made the place so special. They were extremely helpful and sweet. I mean they literally pointed out everything I would need to make my favorite Thai dishes. Not only Thai, they cover a variety of Asian ingredients. I will definitely be visiting again!

Incredible store with all the necessities for Thai cooking. My mom found this store for me online after I was having to go all the way to Chinatown to find things to recreate her Thai cooking.

Kitty and her son were so kind and helpful- will definitely be going back!

Ah!!! What a blessing to find this market. Ive been seeing it on TooGoodToGo, and as a chef I care about food waste and reducing as much as possible. I went in with the main idea just for that bag, and instead I was able to find almost all of my hard to find items and they have khao niew steamers! The owner was so helpful and showed me some new products that in a restaurant standpoint I will be back to buy, especially that instant lime juice! This is going to be my regular spot. Their sign is small its in an area with warehouses but the store is great size and has more products. You have a customer for life! Sabaidee!

Many a home cook has been plagued by a dearth of Thai ingredients when trying to emulate their favorite takeout dishes. It is difficult to overstate the importance of core ingredients when trying to cook an unfamiliar cuisine. Siam Market has all the stuff you need if you want to really do justice to the food you're trying to honor. Thai basil, galangal, lemongrass, makrut limes and leaves...not to mention a plethora of pantry ingredients. Definitely check this place out. Disorn was super helpful and interested, and w/a temperature check and plenty of hand sanitizer, it's more covid-safe than most grocery stores. This place is tucked away in what looks like a warehouse loading dock so keep your eyes open!

Siam Market is located on the border between Bushwick and East Williamsburg. While driving to the market, it seems to be located in a district that is full of auto body shops and warehouses. But don’t let that deter you in coming to the market. We learned about Siam Market through a friend. If you go to their website, you’ll find that they have almost everything you would find in the Thai section of any Asian supermarket. I believe that this store mainly serves the wholesale market, but has this small retail operation for people who want to venture out to pick up individual items.

When you arrive, and since this is the Covid-era, you will get your temperature taken and given hand sanitizer. They only let one group of customers at once (i.e. singles or one family group). The entrance is a bit hard to find because it’s a bit small and the signage isn’t very bold. When you enter, you’ll see a small room filled with Thai grocery goodies and a couple of refrigerators filled with Thai frozen foods.

What struck me most was the fine and excellent selection of Thai snacks. They have multiple varieties of Thai Lays potato chips, fish snacks, and ramen. They have Thai meat balls, frozen desserts and frozen ice bars. In their latest shipment, I even saw a S&P moon cakes! Other groceries items include noodles, sauces, jarred dips and sauces.

You’ll find that prices are competitive here. Some are much lower than other stores in the city and some are higher. You just need to know your prices before you come here.

Service here is friendly. Just ask what’s new and the clerk will tell you what in the latest and greatest shipment from Thailand.

Finally, there’s a loyalty program here where you get a stamp for every $50 purchased. After 10 stamps you get a free Thai Siam Instant Boat Noodle (not sure what that is).

I recommend that you should come and check it out because it’s an unconventional store that is run by a wholesaler!
