Mexatlan Supermercado

The place is not exactly what I'd call a general supermarket, in that it doesn't seem to have everything you might find at a supermarket, but what they do have is an absolute pantsload of imported and hard to find stuff. A variety of produce, a bakery, a meat counter, and ten tons of spices and herbs. It's absolutely fantastic. They also have a deli serving up a number of different dishes, and an amply stocked drinks fridge.

Definitely worth checking out!

My fiancé and I got some food and had the rice and beans with a selection of meat. I got carnitas and she had carne asada. Really good meat and cooked right. We also got the strawberry horchata which is something I’ve never heard of or tried!

The pan dulce is great! Freshly made and soft so definitely going back for more.

Great local mercados, has a good modern look aesthetic and has everything a Mexican would need.

Stopped by today out of curiosity. Beautiful produce, meat counter and bakery. Very fair prices! This is going to be a wonderful staple to have in our community!

Everything is fresh and food was amazing. One of the ladies said they are turning the downstairs into an event space

This is a great addition to So.St.Paul. The products in this store are quite nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Ducked a couple of jeeps on my way out also. People you must vist.

Best place to get carnitas and different reasonable priced tamales!!!

Some prices could be more clearly labeled but besides that it's a great selection of the items you'd expect. Lots of fresh options at good prices.
