Recently I have purchased muzzleloaders online from this company. I wait for the extra discount. The CVA Optima was the most recent purchase. The others were the current CVA Wolf rifles and a Traditions Buckstalker.
There are other breech plugs they sell for different primers and black powder substitute.
They have supplies available online.
I think their prices are among the lowest due to discounts.

Ordered a couple of Flambeau - Masters Series Coyote Decoys from Sportsman’s Guide. Order came sooner then quoted on-line (3 days vs. 7). The decoys were pretty easy to assemble, though I slightly struggled with tail. We have been struggling with deers going after our flowers/plants. We’re are hopeful that this helps save our begonias and other flowers.

Love this place. They've never let me down. Good prices, always seem to have large stock quantities on hand..staff is always helpful. Place is low key and easy going..

Only shopped there a couple times but always had good service. Super bummed out they closed the store

My grandparents had the Sears and roebuck catalog. I had the Sportsman's Guide.

Nothing was more exciting than a few times a year getting the catalog in the mail and spending hours looking through the wonderful treasures that Gary found and made for sale.

I traveled around the world in the pages of the catalogs seeing all of the great military surplus items from around the world.

As a 47 year old, the sales floor was like a dream come true.

Typical great prices and good quality merchandise.

I've bought a lot of "Guide Gear" branded merchandise over the years. Worth the stop.

As a truck driver,I would give them 5 stars.
They get you in and out quickly and have enough space to maneuver,back in to docks.

Had to make a sudden purchase before heading to the BWCA the next day. Found what I needed and at a great price. Now, only if you could buy online and pick up in store! Great either way, always a good visit.

As a (now) retired Army Officer, I've been dealing with SPG since it's inception. Been part of their Buyer's Club for just about as long. Have ordered more stuff than I could possibly remember. I've had SPG things longer than I've been married (38 years). Has SPG screwed up a few times? Yep. Have they ALWAYS fixed these problems? Yep. Do they get things right 99% of the time? Darn right. Go ahead, buy the item you want on EBay, save a few dollars, and try to get customer service when things go wrong. Sportsmansguide is as loyal to you as they are family. Don't piss in your panties, if one thing goes wrong. Wait until you've dealt with SPG for a few decades before you judge.

What a different store this is from years ago! Clean, organized and great Staff! O'NEAL is the man! Tons of deals! Better than Fleet Farm or Cabelas in my opinion..

1st Timer here. It was a Great experience I had with O'Neil. O'Neil is very Experienced in Arms and very Helpful in answering questions I Had. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Store for you Oudoor Needs.

I got hooked on ice fishing by a friend. I had everything I needed already ordered.....except. I needed an Ice sled to haul all my gear in. All of my local stores were sold out. I tried the big sporting goods stores and they wouldn't ship the one I wanted because it was too big. I eventually ordered one from Gary's Army Navy Outdoors store. 2 days after I ordered, they contacted me to let me know that the $95 I paid for shipping wasn't enough and they were canceling my order. So, on Wednesday I ordered the one I wanted from Sportsmans Guide, I paid an extra $20 for next day shipping. I had a group I was supposed to be ice fishing with Saturday morning. True to their word, my sled arrived at my home Friday around noon. They saved my weekend when others said it couldn't be done. Sled worked great and is exactly what I wanted. Thanks for delivering when others said it couldn't be done, and for a great price!

No idea how any of these bad reviews could be experienced I’ve lived nearby their HQ my whole life and have had nothing but great encounters with the whole team from ordering online to stopping in the outlet store. Buyers club is awesome too. I’m also the best deer hunter in Minnesota and have more trophy walleyes than anyone else you know so you can take it from me.

HINT: When buying ammo online most of the bulk is usually a higher cost per round, buy more of the lower count boxes at a lower cost per round (usually $0.03 cheaper)..... I've saved easily $300 this way

Love it hear. By far my favorite military surplus shop in the United States. And they offer 20 percent off all surplus if you can go to their store front in person and not online

So far everything has been very amazing. They have communicated all the way and my shippiment is coming in earlier than they said. It’s coming for Christmas within a week I ordered it from the 25th. It’s already shipped and yes I did get the buyers club. I saved money and no issues like some that I read on here. I will be ordering a lot more from this place and recommend it.

A hidden gem right in south st Paul! Unbelievable deals. I became a member for 40$ for the year and saved over 200$ on my first purchase. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. New content all the time. Only place I'll shop from now on.

Their prices and quality of guns,sights, etc. are a lot better than places such as fleet farm. The customer service here is impeccable as well. They'll walk you through of all your questions and give you honest opinions of their different products.

If you're going to this warehouse for outdoor wear, it can be difficult to find clothing in your specific size. They do have 50% off of all their clothing between seasons, like now in January. After some digging, I was able to find a carhart jacket for $70 and a Columbia rain proof jacket for about $20!

Their clearance section is small, containing of mostly items like chair covers.

I bought a dog bed from here and my dog loves it! It was only $25 and it's much better quality; it doesn't lose flatten so easily like ones you might pick up at target.

I bought a red dot sight scope from here for $37. Normally, I'm wary about buying a cheap scope after buying two that quit working, but this one was recommended to me by their specialist and is sold directly through Sportmans Guide so it will be easy to return if it breaks without the hassle of having to return it to the manufacturer.

If there is one thing I don't like about them, it's their gun purchasing policies. Thanks to the new Minnesota laws, there has been a lot more delays issued by the government. The FBI has 7 business days to approve or deny a purchase of a gun, but after that period of time if they don't respond, the law says it defaults to pass. Sportmans guide corporate policy does not allow them to release the gun until they get an actual approval. This could be weeks or never. Their orders are backlogged by about 50%. It was 70% backlogged so it's down a little.

Overall, a great place to go for your outdoor needs! But, if you plan on buying a gun, you may or may not be waiting a while.
