Went to HobbyTown to find some plastic items to make a 1/25 scale rollback. No one makes a rollback model that I know of!They had exactly what I was looking for! So far I have a bed that can be raised and extended! Also had to make an axle assembly for the helper axle, see pictures to see progress so far. It will be a “cab over” tractor portion!

Great place to shop. Second time have been to this store. Very friendly and helpful staff as well as the owner who walked out to thank use for shopping at their store and spoke with him for a bit. Highly recommend you stop in definitely won’t be disappointed

This place was great! They had exactly what we wanted, and knew just what we needed. Reminded me of the hobby shops of my youth. I will definitely be going back soon. The staff were top notch awesome as well.

I was looking for a gift for my father this Christmas and he loves his HO train set. Well I found the perfect addition to that set here. The staff helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I love shopping small!!!

Amazing Staff. On 12/24/23 I had a question about my Arrma Granite Grom steering servo..it was smoked and new ones are backorder until the spring. Employee upgraded his and gave me his ESC, servo, & motor so I can enjoy on Christmas with my son. Amazing experience. Thank you guys!

I love Hobby Town so much! We have been going here for all our warhammer and terrain building needs for awhile now. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful! They are always quick to answer our questions and recommend great products! If you haven’t been here yet you absolutely have too they rock!

We need stores like this. The staff was over the top with knowledge and very helpful. The inventory could of had me browsing for hours. Definitely will return and make more purchases. Best store I been in in years. I would love to see 1/32 slot cars here .

Great service called in with an issue that another LHS said wasn’t an issue so I took it in and the guy fixed it right in the spot and had me out the door in 10 minutes will definitely be supporting them from now on , plus the selection is great.

Outstanding Service! The rep answered EVERY SINGLE QUESTION my 11 year old had about Model Cars which in turn has lit a new light in him. And... my 8 year old daughter is now in love with Diamond Dotz!

The place for RC enthusiast. They have the greatest selection of RC vehicles, car, trucks, boats, planes and I'm sure more. To be honest my interest at this time are the Traxxas line of crawlers, 1/10 and 1/18 scale. They are not crazy expensive and extremely fun to play with and just about anywhere. Hobbytown Bear is where I go for upgrade parts, tires, motors, axles and of course any repair parts. The faster trucks, Arrma and Traxxas have some exciting bashers, think freestyle driving at high speeds. I enjoy my shopping trips, the guys working they share the excitement and are knowledgeable and can talk box stock to super modified. For those without the comfort to do their own repairs they have the skilled technicians to get you back up and running quickly. They have a ton of other stuff but I generally head straight in the door and straight back to the RC section. Well worth the stop if you get a chance especially if you have an interest in RC.

Excellent experience at HobbyTown in Bear, DE. The salesman that helped me was extremely knowledgeable and asked numerous questions to understand my needs in respect of the RC cars I was shopping for. Will definitely shop there again.

We’ve been customers of both stores since both were opened and have always had a phenomenal experience each time. Very knowledgeable staff and a great selection, the stores are always stocked and very clean as well. However, reading some of these reviews on here is just mind blowing.

Clearly people today have a hard time reading or they should go back to further their education so they can understand what “No Returns or Exchanges” means, it’s literally printed on the bottom of the receipts. It’s a Hobby Store, who would go bankrupt if they accepted every return because people changed their mind, got into a hobby without any prior experience and broke or damaged whatever they bought then expected to get their money back for something Hobbytown wasn’t and isn’t responsible for. With that said, they thankfully sell replacement parts for almost everything imaginable and if they don’t carry it they can get it, should you need it.

For the entitled guy who stated the owner said “it’s like buying a car” with no returns, that’s exactly how it is, go buy a car from a dealer and tell them you want to return it a month later, even if you never used it, unreal that it even needs mentioned. Take it from someone who has spent SEVERAL thousand at Hobbytown on countless occasions and not some keyboard hot shot who can’t comprehend the simple basics of doing business, Hobbytown (both stores) and the owners are fantastic locations and people, you won’t regret doing business there. And since pictures speak louder than words over 90% of what’s in my attached picture is from Hobbytown, like to see the negative people do the same, but that would require them to admit they were in the wrong, which never happens these days. Happy shopping!

Great store. Friendly staff. Never bought a Gundam before. Answered all questions in a cool way. Didn't make you feel dumb which is important in this kinda store.

This place is great. Bought my first RC car with a little help from Rich to make sure I got something my skill level.
David also saw us looking at some of the RPG games and helped us choose a game we could play and also expand. A couple months later I wanted to upgrade the body of my vxl 4x4 to a different body and we had Dalton paint a clear shell for us for a fair price. All in all my personal experience with the crew at Bear HobbyTown has been nothing but great.
