Robert was so informative and generous with his knowledge and expertise. I purchased a sewing machine table and also got a lot of great advice for how to take care of my machine and safely insert it into the table. I really enjoyed touring the workshop full of incredible machines and great sewing souvenirs. I highly recommend this excellent business for its expertise and "above and beyond" customer service, not to mention the sweet canine door greeter. Thank you for a great experience!

Robert was absolutely wonderful & so are all of his machines! He took the time to explain to us the difference in the selection so we made the best purchase choice for our needs. He also demonstrated start to finish how to use the machine & proper technique as well as how to change out bobbins, needles & threads! He also included so many useful accessories to be able to use this machine with ease & with modification and efficiency in mind! My husband and I are so pleased with the experience & service as well as impressed with the craftsmanship in turning vintage sewing machines into a modified heavier duty sewing machine that is so user friendly & has all the modifications you’d want one to have to use in your home! Pricing is very fair for the machines being as solid as they are & all the additions you get along with the machine! 10/10 recommend!

I first contacted Robert through Facebook, and his response time was faster than I expected. I later called him through the phone and he provided a lot of helpful information about a machine I was interested in buying. I ended up going to his shop to check out the machine and I was very pleased with how Robert explained everything I needed to know. He answered all the questions I had, and he was not in a hurry. He was very respectful and honest through the phone and in person. I took home a Singer 15 (plus extra goods for no charge) and extra sewing needles for a good price, and I am very pleased with it. A few months ago I contacted Robert about a Singer 31–15 machine. He replied back that he did have one that he had recently acquired, I was undecided so I held off on it. A few months later I went to his shop to drop off a machine and look at the 31-15. I was very pleased and Robert generously offered to do an even trade for my machine. I gladly agreed and was very excited. The machine works great, the table it came with was in very good condition too. I highly recommend you get in contact with Robert, you will not be disappointed!

Visited Robert's shop shortly before close of business today. Wasn't aware that they closed at 6 on Fridays but he was very welcoming and kind, generous, and so helpful! Overall just awesome. I appreciate his customer service very much; he took the time out to show me the basics of operating the machine as I'm getting back into sewing after having put it down for a long while. Purchased a sewing machine from Robert, with no sewing machine experience, and he walked us through every aspect we needed to know. Only place you should be buying your sewing machines from! You won’t find a better product, at an affordable price, with this kind of customer service!

Whatever you do only go here they are very informative and they will explain everything to you I have very little sewing experience which is only with fabric I have been wanting a leather sewing machine for awhile which i have been doing alot of research and even in leather groups and you tube videos but they took the time to show me everything on the machine and I mean from simply plugging it into the wall to maintaining the machine as in oiling it I walked out very satisfied and confident and happy with my purchase they even informed me that if I have any questions or problems do not hesitate to call or text them and or even face time the customer service her is absolutely phenomenal

I began my search for a Singer Featherweight a couple of months ago. I searched FB Marketplace and several came up. I wanted to see one in person rather than having it blindly shipped from somewhere. Robert had a posting listed - he was really quick to respond to my questions and as luck would have it - his shop was really close. He let me come look at the FW 221 he had (a 1953 model). She was in excellent shape on the exterior, had all original attachments, was in perfect running condition and was fair in pricing. When I picked her up, I asked Robert for a quick tutorial/demo and he was more than happy to show me. I am over the moon excited to have found such gem. Robert's work is warranted for 30 days if I should have questions once I start sewing with my new-to-me FW and I can tell he is a man of integrity from dealing with him who puts his customers first. Go have a look - he has ALOT of cool vintage sewing machines!

I recently purchased a sewing machine from Roberts sewing Emporium, if you were looking for a durable professionally serviced sewing machine this is the place to go! Robert showed me several machines that were capable of sewing the thick material i’m using for my projects. Robert demonstrated how to use the machine and explain to me the best needles and thread to use with the particular sewing machine I purchased. He has dozens of units to choose from and can tell you just about anything you need to know about sewing machines, plus he is far less expensive than some of the other places I have been to.
I am extremely happy with my purchase and would give more than five stars if I could.

From beginning to end the entire experience I had went exceedingly well! I reach out via FB marketplace initially and Robert was SO fast to get to my questions. We worked together to find the right machine for my needs. When I came to the workshop to pick up my (new to me) Singer he showed me in real time how to set up and use the machine, his modifications made to the machine, and how the machine performed on my own scrap material and additional material he had for testing. Robert is just such a wealth of knowledge and was incredibly kind to both myself and my husband during the entire process. We currently live in Midland and drove the 4-5 hours to meet with him for the purchase. I would definitely recommend Robert and his business and I have all the intentions of coming to him in the future for servicing, repairs and more machine purchases!

Robert has a beautiful selection of vintage and antique machines. He also carries industrial which is what I purchased with a warranty. He was knowledgeable and helpful. We will be back for service of our machines.

Robert was very patient and responsive to all my questions. He was very honest about all the imperfections and flaws of the older machine I was buying. He sent lots of pics and even a video of the machine sewing. He packaged it very well and shipped it quickly. It was a pleasure doing business with him and I would highly recommend him to anyone else who is looking for a sewing machine.

Robert was amazing even before we went to his shop. He FaceTimed us showing us a few heavy duty machines to see if it was worth the 2.5 hour drive to his store. It definitely was worth it. Got us a heavy duty singer that is a beast. It does everything I need and then some. Robert spent over an hour somhowing us how to thread, stitches, the power of the motor and everything else. He made some foot adjustments for us too. Highly recommend this place!
