Got the chive dumplings and Thai mint tea. I swear I haven’t had anything as good in looonh time. The staff was super friendly too. Prices were very reasonable. Great place.

Love this Thai grocery & take out foods! Today I tried their chicken curry & papaya salad. OMG! Very delicious ! Papaya salad was healthy tasty & delightful to eat! The curry chicken was bursting with flavors of curry coconut milk spicy sweet it had basil bamboo shoots. The curry broth was hot spicy sweet and with tender sliced chicken. Wonderful combo with rice!! Highly recommended for lunch or dinner! Staff very helpful and friendly!
Service was excellent ! So glad it's in Smithfield! I even shop for my groceries there!

Been eating here for years and it's something we look forward to every Saturday. Everything we have ever gotten has been amazing. Today we grabbed two orders of pork and sticky rice, and sweet Lord that stuff is outrageously good. We love the new location and try to pick up a few items from the store every time we visit. Thank you guys for brightening up our Saturdays over the years.

This is more than just a market. Chili Hill has delicious hot take-out food! We looked on Facebook for the weekly menu and called 30 minutes before closing on a Friday and our food was ready in 15 minutes! Everything was delicious and so flavorful. It tasted fresh and homemade with lots of love and high quality ingredients. The pork buns are so pillowy soft and filling. The geo nam soup has a delicious broth with dumplings and is like a much better version of wonton soup. The Chili Hill soup has tender pork and noodles and a great spicy broth. Also the roasted chicken is so flavorful and the mango cake is sooo good. It reminded us of a strawberry shortcake. I'm glad we tried a variety of new foods. We're looking forward to trying some more.

Chili Hill has great food and friendly folks! If they don't answer your phone call, make sure you go in store. Verizon has horrible phone service downtown so they might not get your phone call. I ordered and they had it ready in just a few minutes. Super fast! This is a great place to grab a delicious meal. Don't forget dessert!

I have not heard of this place until I saw them on the Restaurant week list. I walked in to this small cute shop full of neat items. I ended up purchasing some items off the shelf as well as the $10 restaurant menu. They have a pretty extensive menu for a small quant shop(all takeout only). I got the Thai Tea, Thai Sausage, and Mango Cream Cake. In addition, I ordered Mango Sticky Rice and Banana Sticky Rice as well. All were amazing!

First time just stumbled upon this place. The soup was beyond amazing! Store is warm and homey. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great experience.

I was able to find all of the specialty ingredients I needed to make my daughter's birthday dinner, panang chicken curry. Tim greeted me with a smile and quickly showed me where the items were. I will definitely return for any additional groceries and to sample some pre-made food.

Omg I went the other day for the first time, and it was amazing! Worth the drive from Norfolk. Amazing customer service. Tim (I think that’s his name) was so nice and patient with us asking about the menu and figuring out what we wanted. Y’all, that Traditional tea is so good, and please try the Papaya dogs and steamed buns. I love this place. See you guys soon!

I absolutely love this place. The owners are lovely, the fresh food they make and prepare is delicious and authentic. I tried their pork buns and I've been dreaming about them ever since my visit. They also have rare and unique snacks as well as cold drinks and some fresh produce. This small store packs a big punch! Don't miss out.

We went there for the 1st time today. This is such a cool little place! They have Asian shelf stable foods, fresh produce and freshly made Thai foods! We ordered the pork steamed buns, wow were they GOOD! Will definitely be getting them again and trying something new as well! The owners were absolutely lovely! I highly recommend checking this treasure out!

Every dish they make is delicious. Super authentic, flavorful, and globally appealing. Everyone that is waiting to pick up orders talk about how great it is. I went here today for the first time with a friend. I ordered the larb moo and she had the roast chicken. We ate our food at a cute and comfortable outdoor area behind the building. How was it you ask? It was so delicious that I ordered 3 more entrees to take home to my family so that they could experience the explosion of flavor from the fresh herbs and spice. I loved the food, my family and my friend did as well. Do yourself a favor and visit this family owned and operated business.

Family business in Smithfield. The food is amazing if you love Asian cuisine. I wanted to go back for more and we have after the Farmers market on Saturday. Some days the do offer foods in the Farmer’s Market. Don’t miss out. A real gem.

Im in town for work and I was recommended a few places in town for good food and this place was one of them. I decided to try it out for lunch on the first day. I'm not shre if I'll be able to go anywhere else for lunch this week, the pork curry special was out of this world.
The service was extremely friendly and helpful, and the Thai tea was absolutely delicious. 10/10 would highly recommend this spot.

2023.07.11- I have found the perfect creamy coconut-milk based, savory chicken curry meal I’ve been craving in this out-of-the-way shop in downtown Smithfield, VA. I wish this shop and I were neighbors. I vigorously recommend!

Excellent food and excellent service. We stopped by today at both the store and stand at the Farmer's Market. We got the steamed buns, bbq pork, and mango with rice. All were fantastic. The steamed bun was unbelievably good. The store has some unique items you won't find at any typical grocery store.

I went to chili hill and enjoys the most delicious hearty salad and cannot wait to go back and have it again. I also purchased a pack of cookies and some delicious mangos. All for :$14. You can't beat the price or quality and the owners are so nice!
