If you're going to visit an auto parts store, just set your GPS to this O'Reilly's Auto at South Post Oak Road @ 90 — and I'm not just saying that because it's O'Reilly's Auto Parts store (5⭐) — I'm saying that because there is an employee named Michael (we call him Mike, but ask for Michael) who works there (the managers and employees are also skilled and personable) and he will make you glad you stopped at this location. But look, Michael is not your average employee... Michael is your go-to guy for all things automotive related, no matter how big or small the order is.

Not sure which part you need? Michaels got you.

Are you intimidated by salespeople? Michaels got you.

Are you completely 100% clueless about what part you need to get for your vehicle, even though your mechanic literally just told you what it was that you needed to get and sent you to this store because of Michael? Don't worry, because.... MICHAEL HAS GOT YOU (again: Michael is probably the reason why your mechanic sent you there)! **More information later on how O'Reilly's got you even if you forgot what it was you went for**

A little bit about us and our experience in the Auto industry: We've been in the automotive repair industry for going on almost 20 years now (we started at 20 years old together) and have rarely found customer service of this caliber at a chain automotive parts store.

Their managers & Michael (along with all the other great people working there) will have you coming back just because they want your business and want your automotive needs to be fulfilled and they will go above and beyond to make sure that (they legit just want to make you happy).

We personally will not hesitate to drive 40 minutes in rush hour traffic if they say they have a part, because we know when we show up it's going to be the right part and Michael, or one of the other associates are going to be at the counter waiting on us, even if it's 10 minutes before closing. Again, that's because they actually care that you get your part....we've all been in a scenario where we pull up to a store 10 minutes before closing and the doors are locked and the employee(s) are just standing there pretending like you're not knocking on the door, and that you didn't just call them 15 minutes earlier telling them that you would be there in 15 minutes and they had said 'okay'....well, that doesn't happen here! The hours of operation are the hours of operation.

Now, even though Michael knows that we know our way around OEM parts, he still double checks our orders and makes sure that it's the right part because there's nothing worse than getting the wrong part.

How you ask? They can just check your VIN number (even as a regular customer... Even if you don't know where your VIN number is, they do!) and see if they have your part available and if they don't, they will send you to the O'Reilly's location that does have it (one of the advantages to living in a megatropolis like Houston is that there are so many O'Reilly's around, someone is bound to have your part.)

In this modern era of online parts sales, you must really ask yourself if that $10 discount on that questionable part you're getting from that "website company" is really worth it, when you can literally have the part that you need in that moment and have your vehicle(s) running that same day. Because while you may save that $10, you will lose days on shipping time ordering offline (especially considering what's happening with the mail in Houston... Just get it in person at O'Reilly's with Michael).

Don't hesitate to stop by this location at South Post Oak Road @ 90 and ask for Michael! If he's not available, one of the other amazing associates or managers will be there to help you.

I go to many auto parts for parts, some times I will give up going to advance because of the word's it can't be ordered so I just happened to pass the carwash and it's a new auto parts store so I pulled in gave the year of the truck and they told me to come at noon and it was there, so now I have 3 auto parts stores within 2 blocks of me, and thank you o Reilly

Great very professional staff.
Felt uncomfortable seeing a customer walking in loudly talking on the phone profanity in Spanish...then walking behind the employees desks as if he own this store!!

Thank you to the awful manager Alex for denying my boyfriend return due to “inventory issues” and did not want to return my money back after claiming the store had inventory and could accept returns and proceeded to explain in a awful manner. Eventually it came down to going to a different location near by after dealing with Alex horrible service; i was told alex failed to follow policy whether the store was having inventory or not the return should have been processed regardless of the situation.thank you O’Reilly for training and allowing employees to act this way I will never shop their again DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION better off going to advance or autozone

Worst experience ever went into the store and was met with an attitude from an employee called ALEX. I told him I needed to do a return and then he promptly asked me what store the purchase was made from and I asked him why would it would matter if I’m trying to do a return on a item that was not used at all and continued to explain how he couldn’t accept my return due to them doing inventory and denied me from doing a return and gave me a attitude the whole conversation in-front of other customers this is truly ridiculous and unacceptable to have employees who don’t care about customer care sadly this is what oreillys likes to hire incompetent people who can’t do their job correctly and have terrible customer service skills . I went to another store nearby and they told me they know this person and he causes nothing but trouble and was moved not fired welp goes to show how corporate doesn’t care either about customer care
won’t shop at this store at all . I recommend to go to autozone since they can atleast do returns unlike this store and so far have not had to deal with a employee who acts like they don’t want to be at work and treat customers poorly & try to embarrass them.
