Shawn tinted the stain 3 times prior to me leaving to get the color I wanted. He put the stain on wood so I would know what it would really look like. Great customer service.

SW has a great selection and the representative at the Elmira location is knowledgeable and based her recommendations on my needs. Prices were more reasonable than I realized!

Knowledgeable and helpful in store. Thought I knew what I wanted but was steered in the right direction with the paint type, quality, and quantity. Much more helpful than the big box stores. Paint on vinyl shutters laid beautifully. Very high quality. Definitely going back for future paint projects even though it's a 20 minute drive.

Sherwin Williams, Elmira, NY has terrific people who called our store in another state to get a paint color we'd used on another house, mixed it and had it ready for us to pick up-great service!

The best place for your paint purchases. One on one help if needed, knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, helpful. I called last night to find out the time of closing. It was 15 minutes and he took my order over phone, mixed up, shook up and had ready when I walked in the door. Was in and out in that 15 minutes. Thanks Sherwin-Williams, I'll be back, when I find something else to paint..hahaha

Prices are at a premium as at all Sherwins but the service and advice here is second to none. Dave is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They will even come to your house if you are unsure of the next steps for your project!

I have been in the Elmira store and always appreciated the service I received.
My only complaint is that $8.00 is a bit much for a color sampl
I would like a smaller sample for smaller amount..
