Kroger

Love this store. Everything here is the freshest and they have a huge selection of produce and meats. They have a nice sushi bar and chicken bar too.

Really nice store! Has always had everything I needed, it's really BIG to be as clean as it is(yeah I know it's brand new) but it looks like they're doing a good job keeping it that way.

They where fighting and I was here for it! All I needed was popcorn! I'm coming back here just to record more drama and cackle like a hyena with my moma! 🤣

Self check out was fast, lines were manageable compared to surrounding kroger marketplaces this time of day. Self checkout lady was very helpful. Store was clean and everything was stocked for the most part.

I want to thank Curt, the manager, and both the Deli and Bakery departments!! I made an order blunder for my company by ordering 200 pieces of chicken and 200 cookies with Wayne, but driving to Woodman. I felt so SO terrible, but Wayne and Woodman were both so accommodating. Without hesitation or knowing where things fell through, Woodman was apologetic and immediately began working on the order. Within 10 minutes I had a platter of cookies and within 45 minutes I had 200 pieces of chicken. Even after explaining what happened and apolgizing, there was no change in tone or helpfulness. Thank you all for your incredible customer service and resolution. Your "can-do" attitude made all the difference!! 😊

The new Kroger's gives the brand a refreshing much-needed look and existence. With the high cost of food and other items, I think this new Kroger's should start a trend. Something like markdown Wednesdays or whatever day they choose because they realize that they are in a community that is not exempt from the all around price increases that all of the country is experiencing. And by the way if they decide to do it I want to be recognized for the idea. After all, I too am part of this community and the community effort.

Brand new store. Very clean, always fully stocked. The produce, basket and meat departments are always looking great and have fresh options!

A very nice Kroger for those who live on Dayton’s east side! Clean, spacious and well-stocked! Obviously the manager knows how to manage.

Staff is amazing. Not a fan of the store not having a deli department where you can get meat and cheese sliced. Everything is prepackaged. The store also has a weird layout. Several people have said they have to double back to find things even after being there a few times. Keep the layouts the same, or as close as you can, for a better experience. Also get a true deli department back. Otherwise a great store. The 5 stars is mainly because of the staff here. ❤

This rating is for JUSTIN, The representative who was at self check out around 9 PM!!! I was highly impressed with his customer service, and willingness to explain to me how the conveyor belts work. I had bought a bottle of wine and after he checked my ID the machine took the wine off of my total because I did not let it run on the conveyor belt. (didn’t want the bottle to break) I just picked it up and put it at the end. So in doing that the machine registered as though nothing went through. Justin came over and took about one whole minute to explain to me how this worked in that for bottles of wine I should use the hand held scanner and that way the machine does not require the item to be ran across the conveyor you can just pick it up and bag it at the end. He then had me use my hand to literally demonstrate how this worked . I ran my hand on the belt and red lights went off which he explained see the system isn’t registering anything. I genuinely appreciate you Justin for truly having customer service. Your willingness to help and explain is RARe These days. Krogers is LUCKY to have someone like you!!! I’m 31 and I’ve never had a store rep explain something to me.

Finally, Dayton has a new grocery store to shop at! I've been waiting for years for this, and it is great! Although it is a little bit on the smaller side, they have what I need, and it's only down the street from me, so that's definitely a plus! It's also nice to be able to get a Starbucks coffee while shopping, although the girls that work there are a tad bit rude and seemed rushed even when it isn't busy. Haven't tried the deli lunches there yet from the hot case but really want to! I would say I recommend this store 👌

I really wish this one was a market place one like I shopped in Tennessee with the clothes and shoes ECT. But it is still the store I like to shop at for groceries because the prices digital coupons girl points really help and employees are very nice and helpful

For someone to give this store a 1 star rating is perplexing? If you wanted a fresh meat counter or deli then go to Dots, I'm pretty sure everyone knows they are the best place around for that. All that being said its a really nice store and it's got everything else a person could need, very nice organic section compared to the 2 Krogers it replaced

Love the new store. Keep the meat and vegetables on sale, they are a necessity. That sushi 🍣 bar is the 👍🏾 great. Have security keep them brat kids out of the motorized carts, them riding in them for fun is disrespectful to those who need them.

Nice store, but it's irritating as hell seeing it listed as a "Dayton" store. Make no mistake, it's in Riverside, not Dayton. Probably doesn't mean anything to the Kroger or Google people, but I assure you, it means a lot to the Riverside city Fathers and citizens. I especially like the self checkouts, even though I find most of them closed at any given time. Even though it's a little further for me, I'll probably just stick with the Dorothy Lane/Woodman Store.

Large, well organized store. Helpful staff.

I love this place. The fried chicken they put out is the best!
