"Cata" as it is lovingly referred to as is a mecca for tabletop gaming, D&D, and craft supplies. This place is huge! It has literally everything and amazing prices. If I lived closer, it would be the only game store I'd go to. The staff are knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. Plus, they have a huge gaming section. I'd love to get my friends and do a whole day there. You can get lost in their bits bin. I love that place.

Great store and staff. Need to work on their preorder hold system / communication. Otherwise great selection and prices and staff is always helpful and friendly.

Love this place. Wish they had mtg singles cases, but not the end of the world. All their inventory is online and searchable easily enough. They've got computers if you need one to search. Oftentimes, the staff will know too. Always like to swing by.

I stopped in today and Brad was very nice and helpful. He helped me work through thousands of bulk cards and was very nice. Very highly recommend this Store! Thank you Brad!

Best gaming shop & event center within 100 miles! Also carries old models that are hard to find. A ridiculous amount of paint, and hobbying supplies, a Holy Grail for nerds!

Love this place. Visited for the first time and the selection was super impressive. Staff was fun and discussing all my favorite things the entire time. I've found my people.

This is my go-to game store due to the of paints. The staff is always super friendly and very upfront on what they can and cannot get.

I stopped in for a D&D book and minis for a home campaign. This is the best stocked game store I've been in in a while. Lots of miniatures, paints, supplies, board games, and MTG & Pokemon cards. Staff was friendly and answered some questions I had about playing games there.

I have never been to this store in person. I have only ever dealt with them online, through ebay, but I can tell you this place is fantastic. They are professional, they are prompt, and they are friendly. I live 6 states away, more than 1,000 miles, and I wish I were closer. This place is a national treasure for gamers of all stripes. I'm grateful they exist.

This is an amazing place! They have almost everything, and they let you use their gaming tables for free. I can not recommend it highly enough!

Best nerd shop ever. Went in for their customer appreciation day and even with the giant number of people everything ran super smooth. Layout is fantastic, it's well lit, and they have EVERYTHING. One small thing to show they put thought into their business, they have tint on the windows so you don't see a bunch of sun bleached products like you do at so many other hobby stores. It's a long drive for me but I keep going back because they just plain rock.

Play dnd every Friday night ...the staff is most definitely excellent and our d.m. Adam is fantastic

War Hammer, Pokemon , Magic The Gathering, and the largest selection of unusual board games. Kids as well as adults love this store.

Great store! Two separate areas; play and shop. Shop Space: Quality items, great stock. Game Space: Comfortable lounge area, adequite tabletop space. Plus a painting area! I think I've found my new local shop!

Went in to get some Christmas dice for my DnD party. The store was clean and we'll organized!

We aren't from Rockford and walked in to the game table side instead of the store side, which isn't a problem, but might not hurt to somehow indicate where the store entrance is more clearly.

My friend and I started coming here late October early November of 2021. It was our first experience playing in person Magic at a game shop and we were blown away by the atmosphere. Pretty much everyone is nice and helpful and very eager to help new people learn. All in all a fantastic experience that has had my friend and I coming back for months.

Amazing LGS. I’ve lived in several cities and been to many hobby stores and Cataclysm is hands down the best store with a great selection, price, friendly and knowledgeable staff (with friendly roaming doggos). The gaming room is a clean and open space with about a dozen wargaming tables full of awesome terrain in a variety of settings, TCG tables for events and tournaments, painting and model assembly tables, couch with video games to chill on. I don’t know Kyle personally but he I seems to be everything you could want in a small business owner and they have my (and my kids) loyalty in a crowded hobby market.

Great selection of board games, magic, Warhammer, minis, paints, and D&D stuff. Recently started carrying die hard dice, which are great. If they don't carry something you're interested, they are amazing about ordering it super fast. The prices are always great as well. I love having such a cool shop close to home.

Great pricing and deals on board games, tabletop miniature and sealed TCG product. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Singles tcg orders are also available and can be purchased at an easy to use kiosk. I used to frequent this shop regularly, and am I happy to become a regular customer again. I cannot wait for the end of pandemic restrictions so I can enjoy the large space for in person gaming again.
