Very clean and well put together store. Lots of varieties from brands to different color options. I went there originally looking for a shoulder brace(couldn't find a good 1 anywhere in Springfield) that they not only had but had different options, plus I purchased a very reasonably priced Ariat work shirt too. Very pleased!

Well folks, ACADEMY has just opened in Springfield, ILLINOIS.

And I was their first pricematch - and it went easy, peasy.

Not the greatest of prices to this old shopped or maybe as big a selection as Scheels but they offer some choices not otherwise available and have friendly staff.

Great experience at this new Springfield store- they honored a price-match no problem. Good selection and variety of athletic shoes (especially for kids). Another top notch sporting goods store for our area!

Prices on items did not match the item. For example I bought a pair of gloves the price on tab was $24.99 at cashier when scanned it was $59.99. a little difference in price I believe
