Daveco Beer, Wine & Spirits-Thornton

I was visiting the Denver area and decided to make the world's largest liquor store a destination. Great place, and it's dog friendly. I've joked with friends that they should put me in charge of their marketing. There's a small area just inside the front door that should be selling T-shirts, mugs, shot glasses, etc. with Daveco / The World's Largest Liquor Store. I would have bought all of that...

Daveco is a huge store, with an amazing selection of beer, wine, and spirits. The employees are more likely to ask if you need help then for you to try and hunt one down.
The store has a tasting area. Although I have never attended a tasting, the atmosphere and set up look nice.
I always find good sales, or even clearance items.
Plenty of parking, and an easy on-off from Interstate 25.

Some reviews mentioned the staff not being friendly, but I went there today and they were very helpful and friendly to me. They helped me find the highest ABV beer which turned out to be a whopping 17% !

Great prices! and has almost everything you are looking for, I just wish I could find Tequila Fortaleza

This is by far the biggest liquor store I've ever been to it's even in the Guinness book of world records, huge selection, good prices, awesome store, can't wait to go back. This is a very cool store with lots of barrel picks

The selection there is phenomenal. The biggest selection we've seen since moving to Colorado. The cashier asked if we had an account, to which we replied "no, but we probably should". He never offered to start the account. He really didn't seem like he wanted to be there.

Their service is exceptional. Since I have limited knowledge about alcohol, when buying gifts I always have to ask for suggestions or where items are located. It is amazing they're associates know where everything is located and their knowledge base is expansive. No high pressured sales. Good prices and good selection. The only place I shop for alcohol related gifts & hubby buys all our wine from there.
