The Brits Place & Emporium

This is a great store, and I'm so glad they've moved to Huber Heights (Powell Road and Old Troy Pike) because it's close to home and I hope to be in there often!

There are, at this writing, 4 sellers of thrift/vintage/antiques in this big space! The seller in the back (didn't catch his name) who has tons of furniture takes cash only (I THINK that's what I remember) so be prepared for that! The other 2 sellers, Graham and Steph, were cash or card. I didn't meet the 4th seller, who I believe specializes in books.

Graham, being the proper British gentleman/host that he is, has coffee and tea for purchase up front and I believe he said he hopes to have hot dogs, chips, maybe other light snacks in the future. Very sweet and even practical for those who rent a table to sell their own things on the weekends!

My husband got 2 beautiful liquor decanters there. One is just like his parents had in the 60's/70's,
and the other is etched with a golfer on one side and a "P" initial on the other so it's quite fitting for a guy named Phil!

My glorious finds were a vintage (?) brown straw summer hat AND an adorable stretchy brown with beige dots summer dress! It's as close as I'll ever get to Pretty Woman, lol! Not only does it fit wonderfully but it's a perfect ankle-length on my 5'3" Hobbit height!

Go check them out! Huber Heights, the shopping center at the stoplight at Old Troy Pike and Powell Road! But save all the 1940s/1950's things for ME!

Genuinely one of the coolest little eclectic shops I've ever been in. There's something for everyone!! Leaving with a haul of lava lamps (some dead stock that haven't been opened), a cool self sustaining terrarium, little knick knacks, and wall art. Graham is lovely as well, one of the most interesting people I've ever met!!!

Took a visit to The Brits Place and was pleasantly surprised! The owner was very friendly and welcoming. This cute little shop had a ton of unique and interesting pieces! I found a lovely crystal necklace along with other goodies for a great price. If you’re in the area, definitely a fun pit stop😊

I love this place. Great prices and great finds. This is a gem especially in this economy. I bought a purse here from upstairs a few years back and I get compliments on it all the time. The guy downstairs has great finds as well and he is open Saturdays and Sundays. The rest of the place is open everyday. 💛

This shop and it's owner are so charming and full of character. Truly one of the best thrift/vintage shops in the area and my fiance and I will be returning for sure. Thank you, Graham!

Absolutely the best place I have ever been. The man who owns the place is awfully kind and incredibly interesting. All of the items in the store are beautiful and just so cool. If you enjoy thrifting items or different knick knacks this place is the place for you. I got so many lovely things and was just so happy overall. Please stop by this place, it’s incredible.

1st time visiting. Nice variety of old and new. Owner is working hard to get it organized. Enjoyed visit, bought quite a bit, and will definitely be back.
