Vernon National Shooting Preserve

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Our family decided to try something different on a Saturday afternoon, and booked an outing at Vernon National Shooting Preserve. From the owner Ron, to our guide Dane, and the entire staff, our experience was one of the MOST memorable we've ever had. So much fun, healthy competition, and the love of shooting sports best describes our day. Highly recommended for anyone of any age. We are now considering becoming members and making this a regular family gathering. THANK YOU Ron and Dane, as well as, the entire staff who made our day so memorable.

We held a corporate event for our leadership team here. The team at Vernon National Shooting Preserve was very friendly and understanding of our various skill levels. We had an absolute blast competing with each other on the 16 hole course and rounding out the day with a delicious barbecue. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go again!

Have shot the Sporting Clays course as well as participated in an upland pheasant shoot. Amazing people and atmosphere!

We had a great hunt at Vernon National Today. Darcy, Ron and Andy were awesome. Great flying pheasants. Great property with good cover even with the snow. We felt welcomed and never rushed. This was our first hunt at Vernon and will plan to go back in the future.

Great place . I enjoyed the shooting preserve as a spectator. Nice area .

We were in the area for a corporate retreat and decided to go to Vernon Shooting Preserve for a team shooting outing and lunch. The guides were great during our "golf with a shot gun" activity and the food (steaks and salmon) were wonderful! We would highly recommend this place for corporate outings. We had a blast!

I am overly pleased with the access as well as the prestige that is affiliated with this location. I adore the workers, the little hunter dogs whom are quite approachable and speak to the customers in their way.... Ammunition and weapons available for purchase are of higher quality. I have no complaints regarding this location. If you enjoy your 2 ND amendment right and wish to be apart of a prestigious location, this will suit you decently....

Ron and Darcy are great people! Awesome facility. ..great way to spend time and enjoy the outdoors! They are very willing to help you out , answer questions. ..they have great shoots with meals following!

Great place to spend the day shooting. The people there are friendly, and the gun store is nice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who owns guns.

Don’t even know where to start! Between the owners and Darcy who set the event up for us and the instructors the gun choices and the food! All top notch! That make you feel at home as well as having five star choices! Have been here 3 times and will continue to go! Thank you so much!

Excellent sporting clays course. The stations and the layout are top notch. A great place for beginner, as well as advanced shooters. The staff is friendly and the so are all of the members. Relaxed, yet safe and professional atmosphere.

Beautiful layout, great Pro Shop and Gun Shop. Awesome new trap field. Very fun 16 station Sporting Clays. They also have a 600 yard rifle range and a handgun range that you must be a member to have access to.

Great Time - Exceeded expectations. In spite of the rain, the experience was perfect. Six men of the family shared 2019 Father's Day shooting followed by a steak dinner (best rib eye ever!). Tony, Jo-Ellen, Darcy and Ziggy treated us as friends and went out of their way to make the day perfect. Every dad agreed this is better than a shirt. Thanks for the memory.

My husband and I have been traveling throughout the northeast over the last two years and have visited many shooting clubs for sporting clays. Vernon is at the top of our list of favorites. The unique target presentations, beautiful property, and welcoming people will keep us visiting as frequently as possible.
