There is a wide selection of ready to eat and shelf stable items. While the dining area appears to be clean, the florescent lighting makes it feel like an emergency waiting room.

For non shelf stable (refrigerated section) soups or juice, it would be great to see more ethnic labels,such as those produced by the minority with their own cultural influence.

The lineup can be a pain during the afternoon rush hours. But it's expected.

I go to this Whole Foods ~2-3X weekly, and I love their selection of products. The butcher section is wonderful, and one of their butchers (Berto) is a delight. He's so friendly and informative, simply the best!! My only criticism about this location is the checkout situation. It's unclear to new visitors that there are two separate lines, and more signage stating that there are 2 (perhaps hanging from the ceiling) would help with this.

I had an amazing experience with a gentleman restocking the bread aisle today, Zach. I was with my two young children , looking to pick out peanut butter, when a crazy older Karen started verbally assaulting my toddlers, telling us that she had been at the store for 3.5 hours “because of people ‘like you.’” Ironically, the store was the least crowded I’ve ever seen it and I go there often — perhaps being that it was 1:30pm the week between Christmas and New Years Eve. This woman was clearly crazy and wouldn’t move along, insisting on chastising us, for what exactly (grocery shopping as a young family?: I’m not sure. Zach jumped to our defense, asking her to move along when it was clear she was unhinged, to which she turned her craziness towards him, saying completely nasty and unwarranted personal assaults. Zach was kind, sensitive and poised in the face of true craziness : I hope someone from his team sees this post and recognizes what a professional he was today ; my children and I are so grateful he was there!

Whole Foods 3rd Avenue is a fantastic place for quality groceries and organic options. The variety of products and the commitment to sustainability are commendable. However, there's room for improvement in terms of accessibility for wheelchair users and parents with strollers. Ensuring a more accommodating environment would make this store truly exceptional.

This Whole Foods is really nice! There are lots of local foods to buy! You can even get a Junior’s New York Cheesecake home 😍 love this place!

Love this location. It offers such a wide variety of items. Whether you're a vegan, carnivore, or a lover of organic is definitely your go-to supermarket! Bakery items are available, and if you have a specific request, let them know & they can assist you. Meat, Poultry & Fish are ALWAYS FRESH. Also, I love to run to Whole Foods if I have an AMAZON return. They make it incredibly easy to do a return now. The only downside is that the price of the food in Whole Foods is definitely higher than most markets. But i'd rather pay more knowing I'm getting quality items that are not in the midst of expiring as opposed to going to a local supermarket in my neighborhood where they're putting app, almost expired items for triple the price since the COVID pandemic

Possibly my favorite whole foods in manhattan. Its got a big single loop layout and its easy to shop. It gets busy enough around 6pm that i avoid going here, and checkout is a big winding and congested, but its big and clean and smartly deSigned.

Great place for all your grocery needs! Awesome staff and well stocked inventory, unless it's a major holiday, which means you have to get there at least 3-days prior!

Big supermarket with an extensive section of vegetables, food to take, and in general, multiple brands of many products. One of my favorites in the area.

As much as I like TJ’s, this is my favorite grocery store near where I live, UWS.
They have everything and good quality. I’m a sucker for their salad & hot bar but I’m skilled at keeping it at $10.

This is one of my favorite Whole Foods Markets to visit. There is such fresh selection of fruits, vegetables, seafood, meats, etc. One reason I began to visit Whole Foods more is their selection of products are organic and fresh. I even noticed the difference in purchasing my meat from Whole Foods as well. Vegan products are also available to purchase at this location. Their products stay fresh longer rather than those of my local supermarket. There is even like a little food bar available if you want to get food that’s already made. Also, a bakery section with lots of delicious choices. The store accepts cash and card. There is an express line as well as regular check-out lines available. Sometimes the regular check-out line can be long but the wait usually isn’t long. If you do not have time to shop you can place your order ahead online for in-store pick up. There are also restrooms located at this location. The employees are very professional and friendly. I did however notice each location may not carry every item you may be searching for as I purchased a trail mix from the Greenwich location and wasn’t able to locate it at this location. So if you see something you may need or want make sure you purchase it right then and there. Forgot to mention they now close at 9 pm.

Sometimes they out of organic celery and avocados. Probably because they are quickly disassembled . And in general, a good big store

I have been a New Yorker for 69 years! I have never experienced the type of support, kindness and professionalism from ANYONE in the retail space as I just received from 3 of your employees: SHIRELL, TUNIQUE, AND HILDA!!! I will never forget this experience. Please know WHOLE FOODS MARKET is in good hands with these remarkable woman. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you.

They have a great variety of products, including gluten-free

I like that it is organized and clean this place, the cashiers and employees are very respectful and friendly. I do like the products that they sell, I buy mostly organic food and some pastries and breads, I go back once a week from the Bronx.

I visited here to buy non gmo and gluten free products. Worth to visit here . Little expensive but worth the product for your health.

The self checkout is a life saver and the prime discounts are great. I feel blessed to have them in the neighborhood. I used to go to Fairway before for produce but WF beats their prices every time.

I utilized this location to return an item to Amazon.From the front door entrance, I asked for directions to the Amazon Return area, the security person gave me direction and escorted me to the elevator.

Excellent addition to the UES. It's a little packed in but so is everything in this city. Staff is great
