Love the place but this time for some reason they only had two bags of curd left and that's why I stopped there. Is it too late to blame it on the pandemic? 😅

Great selection of alot of treats. Cheese curds made fresh daily. Selection of summer sausage, beef sticks and clothing items and even candy!

My favorite cheese stop up north! They have a variety of cheeses and lots of giftable items (includes boxes of cheese they can ship!).

For those with allergies, like me, all their cheeses are labeled with a specific color so you know what animal the cheese comes from. Makes the process so easy!

If we're in Wisconsin it's nearly impossible to not stop here and get cheese curds and bread cheese for the road!

I visited the Carr Valley Cheese shop in Fennimore and couldn't have been more pleased. The shop-keepers were very friendly and knew every detail on each of their wide variety of cheeses, including giving us detailed flavor profiles.
Based on their descriptions and my previous cheese experiences I selected a variety cheeses that were amazing! Among my favorites are the Sante (sheep milk based) and their 12 year aged cheddar.
So many more to try on my next visit!
As an added bonus they had local honey that was amazing.

Well laid out. Good cheeses. The Big Rat got us to stop in and buy some cheeses.

Super friendly staff, the kind of shop that keeps a dollars worth of coins in the leave a penny dish. Great selection of cheeses made in house, local beef sticks and jerky, and fun wisconsin souvenirs. The cheese production facility can be seen though the windows behind the counter giving that little extra charm that you know what ever you buy is as fresh as it gets. A definite stop anytime you are traveling through Fennimore.

Plenty of cheese and other items to choose from. Have been going there for many, many years. Though not as often as we would like.

So many choices! Staff was super friendly and helpful. I grabbed a handful of different cheeses from different kinds of milk. Looking forward to exploring my choices. Shop is clean and well laid out. Prices are reasonable and products are localy sourced. I'd be happy to go back.

I remember back in The 1990's A.D. when Carr Valley Cheese used to be called Fennimore Cheese. It was a great place back then. I have not been there since The 1990's A.D..... I have drove Past there since then but I have not been there since then

Selection was good, and varied. Prices very reasonable. It was the only cheese shop open last time we were in this area of Wisconsin. So I would recommend it when you come.
