Oh my goodness, what a wonderful visit! I couldn't have picked a better location for my first visit to a lavender farm. Just driving on to the property, the scent was amazing! And after browsing an extremely well stocked shop, sampling some lavender blueberry ice cream with white chocolate chips, I took a walk in the lavender fields and then spent the evening with a number of people taking part in a type of sound relaxation off in the trees, relaxing in the hammocks.
Just a wonderful, peaceful time overnight in the lavender fields.
Thank you, Anthony, for being able to fit me in with the group already there. I'm looking forward to a return visit one day.

A little holistic gem run by good people! 🧪🪻🍋🧳

We stopped for some gifts and were treated with a tour of the land & a sampling of some freshly ripe purple tomatoes! What a treat!

Bought some lavender infused lemonade, hand soap, cookies & a candle, & also tried some of their ice cream that’s locally sourced. The bourbon cream cheese ice cream was delicious 🥃🍨

Highly recommend for a cute photo op, peaceful retreat, sampling of nature, or like us- gifts & goodies! 🪻

Anthony’s Farm is a very serene, quiet and peaceful location. Although the lavender has already been harvested and the sunflower seeds have diminished it’s still a very beautiful setting here. He also has what I call hammock city about 50 hammocks hanging from the trees where he hand has parties Meditation and different types of gatherings. This is our first harvest host location, and we plan to do many more in the future. Here are some photos for you to enjoy.

Stopped by this cute lavender farm and I gotta say it was the right decision! U-pick lavender for $6/bundle and they have lavender products along with ice cream and lemonade that complements your lavender farm shopping.

I’d say the biggest surprise was all the farm animals like chicken, goats and peacocks that were roaming around and the hammock trees!

The owners and the workers there were so nice and friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

What a gem of a place. Just a 20-minute beautiful country drive away from our side of Kalamazoo. I’m not a particularly spiritual person, but this place was like a full, deep- tissue aura massage. My energy was so clean coming out of this place. Total bliss. Loved the goats and delicious lavender cold brew latte too. We will be back! Owner was very friendly.

Absolutely gorgeous. I was expecting a fee just to enter the Hammock grounds, and I was pleasantly surprised there is none! This is going to be a place I visit more frequently. Genuinely fell in love with this farm, and I'm immensely grateful for this location!

We loved the experience of picking our own lavender. I bought some hand soap that is absolutely amazing, it smells great and feels so good. A great store, exceptional service and wide variety of lavender items including lemonade and ice cream.

I had a wonderful time over here this past weekend. The property is stunning, the owner, Anthony and his family are super sweet and the🪻 lavender🪻 was heavenly. Such a great little shop and an epic kitchen that is 1/2 apothecary and 1/2 culinary. Of course we can't forget the 🐝bees🐝 and the delish fresh honey 🍯. We will absolutely be back! Also can't wait to attend and host some events here 🙏😁🙏

Shades of Lavender is a place that I treasure going. I remember going a few years back and thinking that it was nice. But I need a place that's fun to go to for short family outings and we've started going there pretty regularly now.

First, the store smells so good. They always seem to have some sort of baked good sample and their lavanade and fire cider are delicious.

Second, the owner is super-friendly and knows his stuff. Where some people might see a store that sells things that smell and taste nice, the right person might see a lab where they bottle up the freshness of summer to be enjoyed all year round.

Third, the farm is a magical place to wander, it's not some huge place where you'd get lost, except in your thoughts. And every time I've been it seems like they're improving it and adding little touches here and there.

If you want place you can visit and maybe learn a thing or two, I'd give Shades of Lavender a shot.

Even if you've been to a lavender farm, you've never been to one like this! First of all, the store is full of so many unique items from lotions to salts to the most delicious lemon lavender cookies! Then there is the super friendly, energetic, helpful proprietor, Anthony. And then there is the beautiful, relaxing wooded area with hammocks. And then there's the lavender fields!!! Fantastic place! I give my highest recommendation!

Awesome family owned and family friendly farm. Definitely worth a trip to see how lavender is extracted and infused into everyday products.

Outside is a gorgeous wonderland of relaxation and friendly roosters with hammocks lining gorgeous pine trees leading the way to the lavender greenhouses.

A wonderful experience. All of the staff was welcoming and enthusiastic. My two grandchildren and I had a great day with the goats and the chickens and the peacocks. Laying in the hammocks for a little rest and reflection and then of course cutting fresh lavender and an ice cream in the shop!

This place is more than just lavender! We made memories in the peace and innocence of this beautiful farm. Feed the chickens, cut fresh lavender from rows and rows of smell goods, swing in the hammocks under the trees, refresh with homemade lavender lemonade and take home lavender hand soap like we did!! Underrated hidden Kalamazoo gem of a place!

What a beautiful visit. Came over from Wisconsin to visit family and this was a perfect family adventure. We did the you pick and it was a great setup. A relaxing stop in a hammock was the cherry on top.

The store was a highlight also. Soaps, drinks, teas and oils.

We had a wonderful chat with the owner he explained many of the processes they use.

I highly recommend you stop in.

This was our first time to a lavender farm and we would definitely go again! The field was a great size but unfortunately we were just a little late in the season. We did the “u-pick” and there was enough to get me a small bundle but most of the field was brown already. I’m sure it’s so beautiful when it’s all purple! They have a nice little shop with all different lavender products and fresh/dried lavender bunches. The wooded walking path from the shop to the lavender field was decorated so cute!

Lovely store and amazing field. Chickens, goats, and peafowl greet you with eager eyes for you to feed them. Ice cream is amazing and the lavender lemonade is a must. Lots more in the shop you have to see.

Very peaceful experience. Loved walking through the pines out to the lavender fields. The store had a lot of lavender inspired home made products. Even got to talk with the owner some... We recommend checking it out!

Arriving in the parking lot and you inhale the wonderful smell of lavender. The owner (Anthony) gave me a brief tour, explained the different types of lavender and indulged all my questions about the farm. I purchased shower gel, lotion soap and bug spray, all smelling divine. Am sending my more local friends this way!
