Bering's Hardware

It says “Hardware” in the name but this store is so much more than that!!! They had such great fine china (like Herend!)and crystal (Lalique). I love Le Creuset cookware and found a bunch of different colors here that I haven’t seen elsewhere. It’s a big store too, which you can’t tell from outside! Lots of unique clothes, accessories and home decor. Would be an excellent place to find a gift for someone. Prices are very fair. Definitely plan to come back!

Bering's played such an important part of making our wedding vision come to life. I worked with Hollis on save the dates, our formal wedding invitation suite, cocktail napkins, ceremony programs, dinner menus, escort cards, and more.

With a background in advertising and marketing, I was extra picky, especially about the invitation suite. I wanted our invitations to make a statement and set the tone for a formal affair. What Bering's delivered exceeded our expectations.

The final product featured a customized inner envelope liner with our oversized wedding logo, metallic beveled edges, and extra thick, 3-ply cotton paper stock that showcased the embellished font and letterpress. They were perfection!

Hollis' professionalism, communication, and technical knowledge made the entire process seamless. We couldn't be happier that we choose Bering's to help us make our day that much more special.

The service was amazing with friendly staff close by (don’t have to wait forever for someone who has never done construction) that actually have experience and knowledge of both the products and uses. They gave me advice the helped that ended up with my not needing to purchase the item.
The products are very good with a selection that rivals any of the stores I use (Williams Sonoma, Home Depot, to name a few). They have coffee, beer on tap, and a fun atmosphere. Very enjoyable. In addition, they do some demonstrations on some of the products.

We really enjoyed registering at Berings. The items available at the store are special and keepsakes that will last forever. The whole wedding registry process was smooth and enjoyable. James our consultant couldn't have been better. He was patient, kind, and very knowledgable. He made the experience very fun! And when it came to picking up our items Chad was the man! He was so kind, personal, and helpful with loading everything into our car! Both these men deserve recognition and if you ever need help ask for James and or Chad! We definitely will be back for years to come!

My mom and I stopped by today to grab her absolute favorite coffee ever that is so incredibly flavorful & fresh and they happened to have an amazing deal on these Yeti coffee mugs!!! Such a beautiful store, with the most wonderful people can’t wait to visit again they truly have so many unique departments.

Today I went to Bering’s to look for corporate gifts for a conference. I settled on engraved Yeti cups for all of the attendees. Let me just start with the level of professionalism and patience of the staff.

D’Andre went above and beyond as we mapped out colors, sizes and quantities. This could have been just another sale…. Just another customer. It was everything but that.

The best, I went today and had a plumbing issue. I was greeted right away and directed to the plumbing department and I was able to get my issue resolved and I believe everyone went out of their way to offer assistance. It was a great experience and I will absolutely go back.

Great online shopping experience. I was able to purchase a few Jon Hart pieces with monogramming and they arrived within 6 business days. The bags are beautiful and I will definitely be ordering from Bering’s again!

I went in here looking for gift baskets. They're not pre made but you can pick and choose what you want to put in them and they will put it together for you. Ask for Barbara in the gift shop. Best customer service. She helped me put together 5 gift baskets on a tight budget. When I heard you have to put them together yourself I was about to leave, but she then offered to help me pick and choose what to put in the gift baskets. She was walking around the whole store with me helping me. You don't see this type of service anymore. Thank you Barbara.

I’ve been going to Berings since I was a child. Hacksaw and cinnamon coffee are true highlights of my childhood. Today I am expecting and have a friend who is getting married shortly and registered here. I walked in looking for a specific item and was directed to James who immediately knew what I was looking for, got me hooked up with the most beautiful complementary bridal wrapping, and provided top tier customer service from the second I walked in. While I waited for my gift to be wrapped, I walked to the coffee bar where I happened to meet Brendan. He is beyond knowledgeable about coffee and found me that childhood coffee that I loved so much. As a pregnant woman who can barely keep anything down, I was craving the nostalgia and Brendan gave it to me. He knows his stuff, from the types of coffee, to the roast type, and the machines the company uses. Both of these people deserve a huge raise. My entire day was made just by stepping into Berings today. Kudos to these friendly faces who would make me come back to Berings just because of the care, compassion, and kindness they showed. I hope to see them running the place one day soon!

I love Bering's! I have brought family and friends there time and time again for everything gifts, wedding registry, and household related. The Bering's staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and to make sure you're getting the best service possible!

This is the best local store in town without question. It has that small-town hardware store charm, but it's stocked with the top brands. Its collection ranges from the upscale (think Waterford, Baccarat, and Juliska) to the outdoorsy (think Yeti, Green Egg, and Weber) to the culinary (think Wusthof, Zwilling, and Le Creuset). A great place for a wedding registry (we registered there 10 years ago).

This store has something for everyone. Say hello to Hacksaw, the store parrot and mascot, and he might say hello back!

Had a wonderful experience at their Westheimer location! Ordered an item online for in-store pickup, and the order was ready so quickly! The staff is so friendly and attentive, and really go the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of. They even gift wrapped my item for me.

Bering's Hardware is my favorite hardware store! The staff are friendly, helpful and KNOWLEDGEABLE!! Additionally, they have a variety of high end products that run the gamut from hardware to housewares. Even though I have to drive a bit farther to get to a Bering's location, it is worth the trip! I wish I had had enough time to stop at the farmer's market today but will return some other time when it is going on.
