Rockford Rescue Mission Thrift Store

I love this store!! I found a Pyrex pink gooseberry casserole set for $60! It’s very clean and the staff is friendly.

Nice thrift store! Everyone is polite and there’s an amazing selection of things. Most of the clothing is in excellent or even new condition- and the prices are so good! Also, it’s nice to know that the money is going to a good Christian charitable organization that I can actually trust is doing good.

I love this resale store so much more than the others for several reasons. Most of all it's cleaner and we'll organized. The sheets are separated in official sizes so you don't have to guess and in sets if available for a price usually less than $10 set. The clothes are separated for n sizes by type ect. I have a friend that's a salvation army officer for 20+ years that I took to this store to show her how they need to rearrange their stores to no avail. Great place to shop

A GREAT Place to shop ! A GREAT place to donate! A GREAT "Mission With A Message". VERY needed in Rockford. The staff is always VERY helpful. Things are easy to find, and sorted well. The only problem here is, when I bring donations, I ALWAYS FIND SOMETHING NEAT TO BUY AND BRING BACK HOME! (<-:)

AND, HEY!, ROBERT SCHULTZ, lighten up. This is a RESCUE MISSION RESALE , not an "I SEE 3" Walgreen's. The lady at the snack bar may have been running the hot dog roller grill since 09:00, and also might have not been qualified to run the regular cash register. Also, by 4 PM, the other check out isles may have already been "closed out" for the day. Do you understand that most of the good folks there are "in recovery", and will be for the rest of their lives ? That's why, when you "shop" there, you are making a DONATION! How about donating some "Good Will', as in "Peace On Earth, Good Will Toward ALL People". Your photo looks like you have lived a very blessed life. WHY NOT SHOW IT IN YOUR ACTIONS ?

This thrift store has amazing deals and amazing finds. I found a keyboard for my tablet with styles for 99 cents and it works great. If you're into thrift stores you cannot afford to miss this place.

Organized very well! Clear and clean store! Super friendly service! Great selection! This was my first time going and I loved it. Will deff be back! My mother in law told me this was her favorite so I had to try.

This store and donation center is truly a great place in Rockford! First off, the staff is friendly, professional and helpful at both the donation drivethrough and throughout the store, making my experience there totally pleasureable. Their large clean, nicely designed store is very inviting to shop at because of it's well organized layout of clean, quality merchandise from stylish clothing, excessories for everyone, household items, hardware, furniture, video, audio, medical equipment to sports items. There's always something nice here for me to find and use whether as a gift or for my home. Come here and enjoy.

Great selection of everything a thrift store can offer, and I love that it supports the Rescue Mission! They serve so many in the Rockford area.

I love how they have a per box out in the open for you could put in a prayer request.

Ladies on a budget, especially with growing children, great place to shop! You won't feel so bad when they grow out of clothes you only paid $3-5 for!

I always find something here to buy and I am also so Happy buying it knowing that my purchase is not just helping me, it's helping someone else!!!!
Usually my purchases made on store are after donating something outback instead of wasting it by throwing it in the garbage!!!!
Most people may not realize this, so I am going to share! While a ripped shirt or jeans may seem useless and should be thrown away, many donation stores take these clothes and bail them to be sent to recycling to be made into new clothes and other things and the organization's like the Rescue Mission make money off of these donations too! So help some homeless by donating your ripped clothes and that sock missing its pair and FEED SOMEBODY TODAY!!!!

Great place just moved to the area needed some furniture for my basement it didn't take long at all. I even went back to get my dad a recliner very thankful for this place and the employees are amazing!

I love coming to this store. It feels like i always find something that i want to take home with me.

This store is so well organized and spacious it's fun to shop there. I got a nice Christmas tree and garlands for only $30.

I am in this thrift shop 2 to 3 times a week, the staff is super friendly, I find a lot of neat stuff here, and the prices are cheap, I love this place
