My experience was top tier. I had no idea on how to pick granite countertops. Ms Terri was amazing. Her professionalism and positive attitude made everything better for me. She gave her professional opinion and examples on the quartz and granite durability. I was so unsure and frustrated walking into the Home Depot. I had been to other stores and felt overwhelmed. Ms Terri had me leaving confident and with an appointment for new countertops. Honorable mention to Ms Tara too. She is a customer service super star too. Thank you ladies.

The staff was very knowledgeable. I purchased some custom wood blinds and they were cut to the exact measurements by the staff.

Hubby loves this place lol we typically go late in the evening and end up there til they close. The staff is friendly and helpful. It can be pricey but we love it here.

They was so helpful I didn’t have to put my things in the truck.. they seen it was a woman and everybody was offering they help.. I love it there

Needed sand for patio furniture sandbags, called in advance, they had them ready when a arrived at the store.

The team at this home depot is absolutely stellar...except a couple of people at customer service who avoid doing their jobs and are always crabby. Trust me. I'm here multiple times per day most days of the week and visit during all shifts.

This is the only big box hardware store that truly feels like the neighborhood mom and pop shop. Management is stellar, all of the Black folks and the Latinos (the guys only) are literally ALWAYS pleasant, know where to find things, are super affirming, and chill. That's true of tool rental, customer service, the front end, people stocking the shelves, managers, and everyone in between. It's nice to be a regular and be treated with dignity and respect.

They are well above the green hardware store down the road. Without question, this location is better than Orland Park, Matteson, Cicero, and Hobart.

I just wanna give Reese an A++ for his customer service. He is the BOMB! Now that’s the kind of customer service I’m talking about. And he cut my blinds perfect too in like 1 min no seriously 2 blinds and they fit perfect

We recently bought a house and had to fix a few broken steps on the back deck. Pete was covering the lumber department at the time and helped us cut the piece to the right size. I ended up coming back twice (the first time I told him the wrong size for the step) but he patiently cut me another piece without a problem. A few days later, I came back for some new locks for the doors. He helped me again and showed me which locks I should get and some more helpful information. Pete is great, and he really knows his stuff. Thank you Pete!!

Went for some outdoor plants. Mrs Sarah and her knowledge of plants is amazing. She was very helpful and with a beautiful smile.

Outstanding customer service. The manager Alex or Alan, and 2 of his direct reports went out their way to help. This location was also well stocked. I drive to the Homewood location from South Holland because the service is so significantly better than the Calumet City location though I have shared consistent feedback with management there over the past 2 years.
