Hey Sugar is an old fashion candy/ice cream shop!! Nostalgia candy, all kinds of hummus, sodas of all kinds. Such a fun place. On the square in Decatur TX. Worth a visit!!

When we went here back in 2022 it was amazing. The lady that was there that day was the absolute sweetest person ever! I've been wanting to go back and just haven't had the chance.

Good selection of candies, homemade chocolates, novelty drinks, old school candy, etc. Friendly service. A little pricey, but that’s to be expected at shops like this.

This was definitely an awesome find to come across! My bf and I love specialty candy shops, and this shop has it all! Candy you can find in most candy shops, candy from different countries, large “special” candy (jumbo sized lollipops/gummy bears/etc) special flavored cotton candy, and more! It was interesting to learn that they also make their ice cream in-house! We had a sample and it was delicious, so we definitely will have to come back for more. If you have a sweet tooth, be sure to stop by!

Came for the sugar free chocolate treats and something small for my little. So many candies, chocolates, bottled drinks and ice cream.

This is a cool little place with great ice cream and a lot of nostalgic candies and sodas, very friendly service. We love it and go here often, Highly Recommended.👍🇨🇱

This place is wild! They have every American candy and soda pop that was ever made or almost anyway. I was awwhed by their large selection. They make their own waffle cones and ice cream. I had a traditional cone with a mouth watering dip of German Chocolate ice cream. Wow! I noticed some model cars sitting on a shelf in front of a tv but soon realized it was a miniature drive in cinema and the tv was the big screen. Adorable. There is something for everyone here. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. A definite stop for those visiting. The staff also directed me on this sleepy Sunday afternoon of a few other places might like to visit. Worth a look & for some of us a look back to our childhood candy favorites.

Looking for vintage candy? They have the coolest stuff! Plus the ice cream has some powerful flavor! I mean it taste just like the name. So if you get cotton candy ice cream I mean it tastes just like cotton candy! So fun!!

My family and I live in Burleson, quite the drive from Decatur. We stumbled upon Hey Sugar one weekend as we were killing time until dropping my girls off with their father. My kids were over the moon excited for all the different candies, ice creams and sodas that they offer and I personally was excited for all the nostalgic childhood favorites I found. Though we don’t get to make the trip near often enough, it has become a “must do” when we are in town. I highly recommend Hey Sugar for any of those with a sweet tooth or children.

Adorable and creative little candy shop! Great variety of unique candies and sodas. A must stop if driving through Decatur.

Took my kids on there today. My youngest not so easy to please and they did great. Got a fancy turtle chocolate and a toy. Very colorful and eye appealing. They have 2 spots to chill and enjoy your treats. Surprisingly cheap. Loved this place

Great vintage style candy shop, very pricy though.

Took my very energetic six year old boy and he loved it. The staff was really nice and even sold him on a cricket sucker, which to my surprise he liked. We got two vintage sodas, and some candy that’s not so easy to find. When I got home, I couldn’t open my soda bottle, the twist off top just kept spinning but never caught. I popped back in and they gladly exchanged it without needing to see a receipt or anything. We will be coming back to try some of the hand made chocolates and ice cream soon!

Old school candy shop, really great place. Excellent selection of sodas...even if I couldn't find any cold Dublin 1891 red cola. I had a nice grape soda instead.

Great selection of candies and sodas. Always see something different in the cooler, very easy to walk through and convenient location on the Decatur square. Nice to see unique drinks in a small town.

Had a small scoop of rocky road ice cream...very rich very delicious! I wish they had cookies n cream ice cream but they didn't. Even though I ordered a small size cup the young girl behind the counter gave me a nice heaping amount of ice cream. I will go back and try more.
