Keener Farm Butcher Block

First time stopping at Kettering’s local butcher. White building in a residential area, looked like it was closed but once inside you see it’s well lit, organized with a nice meat case. I bought hamburger that once grilled tasted like steak burgers. Delicious! Bought some baby back ribs $8.99 lb - wow grilled up tender and so meaty my hubby and I shared a half slab and were full. Potato salad was light and creamy, potatoes firm but perfect, not overly seasoned - loved it too. Took home some ham salad for work lunches - key word ham - good quality and flavor. Can’t go wrong folks give them a try. Buy local.

I got a ribeye and ham salad. Super happy with the steak it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. You pay for quality, well worth it and we will definitely shop here again. It’s sucked off in a neighborhood so it truly is a hidden gem! The ham salad was good,not sweet like honey baked ham.

Best meat in town !! All local !! Local eggs, honey, sauces , spices. They have everything local and fresh !! Store is amazing a definite must see if you are looking for grass fed beef! You can get all you steaks cut to order how thick you like them !! If you are unsure of what you are eating I highly recommend this place homemade sausage chicken and pork !

Great neighborhood market. Has everything you’d expect a meat market to have. Unfortunately, they were out of bacon when we went. We are really looking forward to trying some of the local bacon. Most of their products are local to Ohio, very happy about that.

The meat from Keener Farms is fantastic. It's a real game changer. Makes even the simplest meals taste great. This is the only place I go to buy meat. Grocery store meats just don't compare! Shout out to the Butcher Block staff who are always helpful and friendly.

Excellent meat and a wonderfully interesting array of local offerings... local winemakers, coffee roasters, beekeepers, and bakers stock these guys to the gills. The service is top notch and there's some of the very best people running the place.

I’ve been buying meats from Keener for many years. Best place in town for high quality grass fed and pasture raised products. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I am so blessed to have this place only a short walk away from my home. The lunches are affordable and tasty, with generous portions. The staff are neighborly and it feels like I've stepped back to a nicer time whenever I've stopped in to visit. Great place to get farm fresh meats and eggs. A hidden gem!

The family of the Butcher Block held a donation drive to assist those whose lives were devastated by the recent tornado. As she was busy running her shop, she took the time to personally every phone call.
I love having her so close to us. She's not only an asset to our neighborhood, but to family owned in Montgomery County. Her boxed sandwich meals are by far, the best that I've had, at a very reasonable price. Everything that you purchase from her is of excellent quality, but most importantly, to me, delivered to you with a sweet charm not found in larger chain stores.
I highly recommend giving Butcher Block a try, their meats are of high quality, and come with the "old world charm" of knowing where the meat is being sourced from, but also how it's been "raised" prior to delivery to her store. Another huge plus in this day and age. If you're looking for a quality lunch, at a reasonable price, this is the best in the area in my opinion.
I'm proud to to have her as part of our "neighbor"hood!

Great staff, very nice. I've loved Keener Farm meats for a long time and was very excited when they opened this retail location. Keener Deli sandwiches are fantastic, and they also sell natural products. The location is a little hard to find, you have to turn down the road next to Murray's and go about a block into the neighborhood.

This place is like the hidden gold mine of food. We go there at least 2 times a month sometimes more. Their sandwich lunch meals are the best around. You want a fresh lunch/dinner meal, well here you go.

Very friendly staff very excellent food. It's takeout only They have uncured bacon , non gmo meats, gluten free flower& cookie mix, an assortment of sauces. You can get them to make you a sandwich that is way better than Subway for less money.

Friendly bunch there. Like they don't know a stranger. Family is hard working and also have a farm. They're good clean food w no GMOs or other junk that is put in our food source. REALLY love their sandwiches!

This place is great! Grass-fed meat. All curbside. Just call, place the order, call when you get there and they'll bring it out to you. Great people too!
