Walmart Supercenter

Everything is clean and the shelves are well stocked. There was a line at both self checkouts and the two open registers but they went relatively quickly. They might have been short staffed as there were loose carts in several aisles of the parking lot from customers too lazy to put them in a corral.

*Update* still seem to be short staffed, but store is still clean. Register lines moved quickly, and they're getting ready for Valentine's day, not Easter like some other stores! I like that they still have the game demo area, it helps my daughter see if a game is worth spending her money!

Just picked up my new progressives at Walmart and I luv em 👍🏼😄.
Big thanks to Big John in the optical department who took the time to measure multiple times to get me the best fit and widest possible reading area. He was really phenomenal! I had gotten my last pair of progressives a year ago at University Eyecare and even sent them back once to get them redone, but they never did get it right. So I had to use old pairs of military-issued glasses for an entire year. Now I'll be able to just keep these on my face all the time and feel great! Walmart has a way better selection of frames too, so you don't need to waste your $$$ on overpriced name-brand frames when there are plenty of nice ones you can get for less. John made a few recommendations but I never felt pressured for any brand. He was very knowledgeable and gracious--just fantastic customer service. I'll be going to Walmart for all my next glasses from now on!

It's a very busy store practically all week long. It has new morning hours now so it opens around 6:am Monday - Saturday and Sunday at 10am. And thay need help so if you need a job you might consider working there.

Great to go when weather is bad bc of covered parking garage. Like getting some produce, bulk goods and grass fed beef.

Well maintained Walmart with helpful and friendly service. Top notch selection of high quality goods. Highly recommend visiting one of the better stores I've been in lately.

Complain all you want about the big box stores, but sometimes it’s just not practical to shop “local” for everything. The Charlottesville Walmart is well-stocked and i especially appreciate their kitchen department and health/beauty aisle.

Great selection of things especially like the size of the hunting and fishing areas

This is Walmart. I don't know what you expect a review to have about this place but I'll put some words down to get a detailed review and the points that go along with it. Oh, and also, smash that like button so we can all increase in our worthless Google local guide rankings. Peace out. By the way this is an older store and is declining.

Walmart is something for everyone. Daily groceries, outdoorsmen, gardening, clothing, you name it! Some of NEPA finest shop here, no pun intended. You’ll see it all, local professionals, to people not wearing much pants. Parking lot is a lot of fun, herds of people flooding into the super center as to get the advantage to check out, which is automated now. Come all, shop all.

Love the deli here they have super cheap side dishes that you can get that's already prepared hot.

One stop shop for just about all your needs, nice and efficient location.

It's just like any other Walmart. It's got everything you need, all in a great selection of items, and mostly, all in one place. Love it.

A pleasant place to shop.
However like all other major stores they have cameras taking our pictures constantly .
It's aggravating and irrational. Borderline legal. It's not necessary I understand them watching the aisles but to take our pictures? Unnecessary absolutely ridiculous. They won't stop until someone or many people complain. If you agree even do a review on Walmart supercenter explain yourself as I have here or in your words

It got it, had a lot of fun with my boy in the toy aisles, learned about their premium Nikon lenses

Nice folks in the electronics section and automotive section at this Charlottesville Walmart. They always ask me how I’m doing and go out of their way to have a chat. Daniel is a really nice man, I’ve heard a lot of good things about him!

I came in to do an online pickup- staff had the item ready as I was walking in.. Can't get more helpful than that. Highly recommended.

Bring a frequent shopper here it's still a decent place to go!

Updating for my most recent trip-used the map to find what I needed. Did well. Still a decent experience.

Again in 2023, still a decent place for groceries. The Walmart+ scan and go is a nice time saver for the most part too.

Yet another excellent pick up. Within seconds of pulling into the spot and letting them know my parking spot number, the associates were coming out the door with my groceries. They were very friendly and expertly placed the groceries in my car.

One stop shopping. Love the food too and it's clean and cheaper than all the other supermarkets. You can buy stamps there as well.
