Kroger

This is my favorite Kroger. I worked here part time during the pandemic. I always enjoy coming in and seeing people that look like me , someone always offers to help me. Zach has been here a while and we always speak too. They restocked my favorite yogurt today.

This is "my" Kroger. I have a relationship with my store. The employees are from my community. They live here too. We recognize each other. We belong. To-geth-er. I can go in more than a couple times a week. A considerable portion of my budget goes to this store. In exchange I get things I need to sustain my life. Nutrition, pharmaceuticals necessities to maintain my health. The nutritional needs are my responsibility. There are also life quality purchases I can make. Flowers for the dinner table on Thanksgiving Day, chocolate, the emergency replacement kitchen tool when the spatula gets too close to the burner and melts where it won't nicely flip an egg anymore because you were paying attention to keep the gravy stirring so its smooth, not over baking the rolls and whipping the egg whites so the dessert will be light and fluffy. My Kroger and the employees are there for me. Always. Before, during and through the pandemic they are there through increased risk to themselves. I am grateful.
My only regret is that this location doesn't have a fueling station on site for my Kroger bucks discount I use to lower my ever increasing fuel costs. Though noted there are several fueling stations within the block, some adjacent to the parking lot.

Wow, has it already been a year since the last Kroger post? This is still my Kroger! A clerk in dairy told me about a store app that I can search ads ahead of time and get barcodes for coupons to use in store by scanning my phone. (If the reader can see the lines behind my cracked screen.) I went early in the morning today and I really liked it. No crowds, no freight in aisles, NO lines at checkout!
It is nice to be recognized at 'my' store. I found a cute little rabbit's foot fern. It's nice to have some fresh greenery in the house when everything outside is so brown and gray. Rabbit's feet are supposed to be lucky? (I guess unless you are the rabbit without it.) However, the lucky bamboo didn't appear to have much luck.

I finally found boil in a bag quick rice. Thank you, Kroger.

Two quart dish, one sealed bag of rice.
Enough water to cover/submerge bag. ~3 cups. Cover tightly.
Microwave 15 minutes. Done.

The food, service and the warm welcome was great. I will be back.

We placed a pickup order and it was pretty inaccurate, some of the items that we ordered were replaced with other comparable items, but they were still completely wrong. We didn’t receive any communication that there were going to be substitutions, either, to which we would have opted to just not purchase. So, you’re asking why five stars after all of this? The customer service. The young lady who brought our order out was kind and charismatic. You could tell that she was smiling behind her mask. She was great. And when I called the store to let them know everything that went on, the lady I spoke with was incredibly understanding, she listened well, and made it right. She turned what could have been an unpleasant phone call into a nice, cheerful one, and that kind of service should be commended. Way to go, Kroger! Thank you! 🙂

Very impressed with how the store was staffed on Christmas Eve. Every lane open, a massive improvement from past holiday seasons. Also, want to thank the staff for working holiday as I know many businesses are struggling to staff appropriately. Thank you!

Nice people here at this location

They have a fair variety of gluten-free items. Many are also lactose-free.

I must admit this stores produce is BEAUTIFULLY PLACED! We spent more money then we normally would thanks to everything being so nicely placed and mostly healthy, besides the strawberries, even the Organic strawberries weren't good looking but the rest great! Ray was an excellent friendly fast cashier and Chichya was a friendly lovely bagger. Overall great friendly clean store!

Floral Dept: Flowers looked fresh, very colorful. Plants, bouquets, vases, orchids in pots.

Great deals top quality of meat. Just keep in mind great quality of meat but got to shop the sales. Bill was 387.42 but using ecoupons with the app walked out only paying 182.27. Plus earned almost 40 off a gallon.

This Kroger is actually pretty nice, the items are always organized the staff is always friendly and you don't get the old dusty Grandma vibe from this Kroger like you do some others. It's always a good experience when I go in here and I love the Kroger app for coupons.

I always enjoy shopping at this store. I come at least once a week sometimes more. They are friendly and always ready to assist. I am a retiree on a fixed income so I tried to stay on budget. Kroger has great bargains.

I have worked at this store for a long time now we do the best we can to provide good service for our customers. If we dont seem friendly i apologize were extremely busy and under staffed due to corporate cut backs in hours we do have alot of rude customers who treat us very badly so most of the time were a little aggregated.i do want to thank the few really good customers who visit my store on a weekly basis i aprreicate a good sense of humor when im working and it makes my day. To those who judge our store keep your bad comments to your self your probably the reason were in a bad mood in the first place. We dont controll the prices or our policy on coupons and if theres only a few registers open please dont smart off we show up and do the best we can

This 5 star is specifically because of the guy at the deli who gave me my bacon today. It's good to not feel judged by an employee for choosing not to wear a mask.

The people are friendly an helpful. They keep updating the store to keep things interesting while. U shop. I'm glade I don't have to drive all the way to another neighborhood to do my shopping because they don't have what I want or need.

As always kroger is well stocked. Parking is as usual at a premium and checkout can be rather lengthy but no more than most neighborhood groceries.

It is a good Kroger, close to my work. The customer service is very good. They seem to well stocked. It is easy to check out, kost lanes have been clear eevery time I have been there. I have not been in during peak times.

You gotta love a place that understands customer service. Like when your trying to pick something and someone takes the time too help you decide what you want without being asked. Gotta give it to them.

Great customer service!! Especially by Barbara, a sweet lady working in the deli. She went above and beyond in friendliness and helping the customer.
