All your beach needs (seriously) in this cute local shop. The coffee and pastries are also top notch. The customer service is also so welcoming. The place is clean and has ample parking. Go check them out!

This little market is such a cool spot. They have a nice variety of grocery goods. The iced coffee is FANTASTIC, highly recommended the pumpkin flavor. If you are a pecan lover, there are locally produced praline pecans sold here as well that are also very good!

Fourth trip to SSI. This is the place I hit first (after the beach!) and continue to stop by daily until we are forced to leave for home again. Excellent food, service and, best of all, communal feeling. Highly recommend!

What a great little spot! I stopped here for lunch while on vacation and the food was so good and very reasonably priced. The person working there was really helpful with their recommendations. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

This is an amazing place! They have everything you need and owned by the kindest people who live on the island. They have umbrellas, sunglasses, bags, bug spray, ketchup, palmetto cheese, bacon, eggs, local peaches, etc. They also have amazing lattes with oat milk and almond milk. I now know I have discovered a gem and will be coming back here all the time!

I love eggnog lattes during the holiday season! Starbucks discontinued there's. Pelican Market has great coffee, eggnog lattes, and lots of other delicious items. Such a great spot definitely where the locals go!

The owners are so sweet! They worked hard to get our food out quickly and everything was delicious. We got two asiago bagels and ice coffees. My husband even went back to get another coffee. 🥰

Pelican Market is the ultimate one-stop shop! From ice cream to personal hygiene... they have it all! They have a great selection of locally made products (like soaps) too! If you're staying near here or planning a trip to the beach, Pelican Market is a great place to grab what you may have forgotten.

We love this convenient little shop. Their ice cream is perfect after a hot day on the beach, and the portions are giant. Also don’t forget to try the spicy boiled peanuts.

I needed some almond milk to make matcha lattes while staying at the Ocean Lodge and googled grcoery stores near me. I called and was greeted by a friendly woman who gave me walking directions (less than .5 miles). When we arrived, somehow she knew that I was the caller (timing, my unfamiliar face?) Lol! I don't know how she knew but she was pleasant and even down-charged (I think I just made that up) my ice cream cone since I asked for small scoops the next day. The selection is small but it's not meant for heavy duty shopping but perfect for convenience. She also sells a selection of homemade casseroles. The store is small, clean and orderly with snack items, soft drinks, and souvenirs (beach towels, shirts, etc.). I recommend to visitors who need items that they were not able to travel with, or who just want an ice cream cone and a friendly face!

The Pelican Market is an adorable little general store located right by the beach. They carry a great variety of groceries, beach gear, and handcrafted local products like natural honey, artisan soap, etc. You should definitely check it out! - Monica

There are limited stores in the area that are within walking distance for tourists so this place was a real gem to find. There was ice cream, fresh produce, canned goods, snacks, and gift items.

Good stop for a quick drive by, friendly staff too.
