Welcoming atmosphere large book selection. There’s a Starbucks at this location adding to the ambiance, they do an excellent job with the coffee. My hazelnut latte was piping hot :) There’s more than books to peruse which is something I love about B&N you can read or shop or both at your own pace. You can sit down and read and enjoy your beverage. There was a local author doing a book signing the day I visited. had an annual sale this day. Highly recommend this location.

My wife and I have visited this store quite often over the past fifteen years as customers purchasing books for ourselves and our grandkids. From that initial visit we always thought of this bookstore as a special experience and it has remained one over the years. This past weekend I and my wife got to experience this bookstore from a different perspective. I am an author, and Barnes & Noble allowed me to have an event at their Macon location where I sold and autographed copies of my book, Lost in Love. It was a great experience, and I want to personally thank the manager Terrell Williams, his assistant Cody, and the entire staff. They were fantastic and I am truly indebted to them for the effort they made. It was a very successful event, and a great measure of this success was because of their effort.

Staff are super helpful and knowledgeable. The Starbucks at this location seems to charge differently that the store down the street for some reason, but the drinks and food are good. There are places to sit and read if you want to. I wish however that their lego section was larger.

Very welcoming atmosphere. Shop at your own pace. Have a sit down and skim read through the books before purchase. They had an annual sale this day. I was able to purchase many of my favorite authors. Highly recommend this location.

My son is autistic and the staff is always very helpful in finding the book he wants. If not in stock, they take the time to explain how it can be ordered. As well as the day he can start looking for the book to arrive.

Who doesn't like a great book store and Macon definitely has a nice one and not just books but magazines and they still sell music and movies. Any time in a book store is a good time.

I love being in a space full of books and obviously this is just that. The staff are very helpful and will frequently check on you to make sure you don't need help and always offer to order a book if for some reason they don't have one in stock. Starbucks is the icing on the cake and pre-covid it was a great place to sit down with a few books and make a decision about what you want to buy.

It was the frist time that me and my Wife have been to Barnes and Nobles and the experience there was pretty awesome the staff the was very friendly and helpful...And the prices there are very reasonable and they matched there prices with what they had online.

Friendly staff, large selection of items (books and assorted accessories) on sale. So much to choose from. I love Funko Pops too!!

The older gentleman that checked us out at the register was very friendly and helpful. He and the younger lady were handling a really long line very good close to closing time.

Casual and relaxed atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff, plenty to choose from in every area of the store. Also enjoy the on-site Starbucks, barista was friendly with a great attitude! Would highly recommend to others!

I have always felt that a coffee shop inside of a bookstore was a bit of evil genius. I seem to be incapable of not taking advantage of the convenience.
B&N has a welcoming vibe. It's got a little more energy then the library, what is calmer and usually quieter then a stand-alone coffee shop. So this bookstore has become my go-to study location.
The Wi-Fi is consistently speedy... Or at least consistently tolerable. There is also an extensive inventory of music and unique, outside-the-box gifts. I've gotten more than one Christmas present there and one time I got a last minute birthday gift. This place is a lifesaver.

This is a great book store. Spent one and half hours walking around looking at everything.
As I was back in Macon with my daughter barns & noble was one of the most do's,we spent a good time just wondering around looking at all the items we could buy but not having the space in the suitcase to take them back to the UK

Tia in the Barnes&Noble Cafe is truly amazing person! She made my son feel super special, found my wife's new favorite drink! And told us about the gold book club we signed up! Please make sure she gets recognized for her outstanding customer service!

I went to Barnes and Noble to get the next Star Wars the High Republic series. I talked to a Caucasian Man that ended up giving me a discount. I did not get his name. It was all around a good experience. The only thing negative experience is the snack and coffee bar who mocks my last name

My daughter is the one who went for me and she said that Excellent 💯 on everything and highly recommends if you are looking for something to read go there.
