Cronin Ace Hardware

I wanted to take this opportunity to share with friends, neighbors and fellow customers an example of how Cronin Ace Hardware and its’ employees are truly vested in its customers and community.

An automobile accident occurred outside of the Cronin Ace Hardware on County Road 210 that tragically took the life of a dear friend and injured her sister. I wanted to plant a tree in her memory. I went to Ace to purchase the tree. Once I explained the reason for wanting a tree, Cronin Ace Hardware in her honor gifted me a beautiful lemon tree. Not only did they gift the tree but delivered it to my home free of charge. The owner and staff shared with me the after accident details. They were with my friend and her sister the entire time, providing words of comfort and assisting in contacting family members. Additionally, Sally (employee) took possession of their dog to avoid him being placed in an animal shelter until he could be claimed by family members.

Thank you Sally and Cronin Ace Hardware employees for providing comfort to my friends and it has comforted her friends and family knowing people were with them the whole time.

If you want to go somewhere that the staff can actually HELP YOU, then come to Cronin Ace Hardware. I needed to drop off my EGO blower for maintenance, and ended up doing a full shopping trip!

There was a LOT of staff in the store standing by to assit, not chatting and socializing. The prices I found for extension cords were very good. They had a tricky type of app controlled Xmas lights timer I wanted, and all the extras I needed saving me an entire other trip.

I can't say enough how helpful and attentive the staff was. They have made me understand how a proper hardware store should operate, and the big bog home stores need to learn a thing or two.

Well stocked, well tented, and well done Cronin Ace!! (I'll take some pics when I head back to get my Ego blower. :) )

Prices are always higher but cannot beat the convenience! Staff is always ready to assist.

For a mom and pop kind of feel this is the place to go. The staff is always ready with a hello, helpful and very knowledgeable. The store is easy to navigate but there has been times I needed help finding smaller items and with no hesitation they help me. I definitely recommend this place.

This is the best hardware store and almost always has everything you need

I was cleaning dryer vent, and went here to get replacement dryer vent duct. They had a reasonably priced kit that made it so easy. You know how hard it usually is! I recommend you stop by and try it!

Nice and helpful staff. We were there when they were dealing with an obviously unstable person that eventually apologized for their behavior. Their staff was extremely kind and patient, even in the face of poor behavior. They never asked the person the leave, they just continued to show them love and consideration. Sometimes that kind of effort is brutal for the recipient, but they should know that they were inspiring and appreciated by their community and other shoppers beyond their normal retail services that day! I promised myself that I would recognize them for that, so I'm using this opportunity to recognize them. Thank you!

The employees there were great.
They had this Adirondack chair, but only one. I said "who buys only one chair" ? I had seen one at another store, but again only one.
When I told Brian that, he got on the phone and contacted the other store and had someone from the store bring it to him.
He called me when it got there.
And let me know, they now had the two that I wanted.
Thank you for going above and beyond.

Even with the opening of Home Depot nearby, nothing matches the experience of this location. Multiple times I’ve walked in looking for a certain tool to accomplish a task, and have walked out with something that can better accomplish said task thanks to the guidance of their exceptional personnel. Getting help to select the right item or tool the first time is well worth any minor price difference.

Bill the owner is amazing. He really takes care of his military. I needed multiple different pieces of hardware for my project and he took the time to help me figure out all of the best parts that fit! This will be the only ace I use in my area.

Nice hardware spot with pretty much anything you need. Friendly staff. John was helpful assisting me with my Stihl string trimmer purchase. Went over features, started it up and got me all squared away with the warranty registration.

This store and the employees who work here are lovely, all of them (at least those I've had the pleasure of talking to) Absolutely hands down, best garden center, prices, and selection. I love this location!!!

Tried this location for the first time yesterday. Wow. Friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to help and everyone seemed to be working as a team. This location is cleaner, free of clutter and well organized. I'm lrepre jazzed as going into some of the other big hardware stores seems like such a chore but was sorta frustrating/unappealing to navigate the older/less well kept stores. So, props to this location and whoever is making it work. I dig it.

Wonderful customer service! Very nice to have a friendly person to offer assistance instead of trying to track down an employee! My husband sent me to pick up a few items and I wasn't exactly sure what he wanted but got the right items with their help. Glad to have a local alternative to the big box name hardware stores!

I shop here all the time and have always had a very good experience. Polite people, good service, and they have one of just about everything you'll need. Nursery area is very very small, but hoping that will change.

Great local hardware store!

I’ve been to many Ace stores. This is one of the best. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I will drive past multiple hardware stores just to come to this one.

This place deserves better than 5 stars. Julie (I think is her name) went far above and beyond 4 minutes before closing on a Saturday night. I am very grateful.
