My son is obsessed with Pokemon cards and they have a trading day the first Saturday of the month, it’s a very cool atmosphere and they have pizza and a DJ during the event. They sell cool stylish sneakers here as well. Definitely recommend checking them out.

Amazing experience! Super friendly, helpful with a great and wide selection to choose from, they went over and beyond to make sure I find the right sneakers for my son. I would definitely come back again and recommend this to any shoe lovers!

This amazing space combines a shopping and educational experience. I dropped my husband off and went for beauty treatments at Parlor Salon. What a gorgeous selection of shoes and the MOST incredible staff. I can’t wait to come back for card trading Saturday!

I went to my first player signing with Fred Taylor. The experience was well organized and flowed smoothly. The store and staff are very accommodating and friendly. I had a question via email and I did get a response and my question was answered. I will be back for future signings and or events at the store.

The Hype Section is just what Jacksonville has been missing! They have a nice selection of hard to find shoes, great location, and a very friendly, accommodating staff. Reggie was awesome and helped me pick out my first pair of Yeezys. I will be doing a lot of business here in the future

The owners are super nice and the environment is really cool. This is our go to for my son's Pokemon card collection. We just attended the card trade night and it's was fun! Not only do they have cards and other sports collectors items but they also have a variety of sneakers and jerseys. Highly recommend this place.

Best prices a shoe store can have. Employed by people who treat you like family. Hands down the most respectable establishment I've been too. I've bought air forces, jordan 1s, and yeezys from here and it has been the best experience every time. Besides the quality, quantity, and family feel the employees provide, the overall vibe of the store is great on its own. Amazing feel to the place. I'll be back time and time again for any of my shoe needs. Reggie, Carlos, and Kai are some of the most amazing people who I've met and really try their hardest to make sure everyone has the best experience possible.

Great experience heading into Hype Section. Always feel welcomed when I walk in. Reggie, Carlos, and the rest of their staff are very knowledgeable when it comes to the products and they always carry top of the line merch. Let me begin by saying that I am not a shoe person. I never have been and I surely don't understand the "hype" over most of these sneakers. However, I am a mom of a serious sneakerhead and I drive him everywhere he needs to go on his quest to find his next pair. We were on vacation from New Orleans when he found this store and he begged to go and take a look. We drove over and he fell in love right a way with the selection. He found a pair that was on his dream list and they actually had his size. Not only is the selection great, but the customer service and atmosphere is great. A lot of these stores tend to not take my 15 year-old serious when it comes to his knowledge and love of shoes and instead will ask me questions which of course I have no clue what I am talking about and looking for and then they look to me for payment. My son works for his shoes and pays for every $500 pair he owns. It was refreshing to see how the staff engaged him and treated him with respect as the buyer instead of looking at me as the wallet. Even though we are not local, we will go out of our way if we are nearby to stop by and browse their shoes. I am sure that my son will be able to find other hard to find shoes that are on his dream list.

Just found out about this place today and went to check it out. They have a really good clothing and shoe selection. The dude working there was super nice and helped out a lot. I will be back and I recommend everyone go here 💯💯

First time I walked into the The Hype Section I was greeted with a warm welcome. The store has a WIDE selection of sneakers and is super involved with the community! Looking forward to future events and everything else this up and coming company has to bring to the table 👍🏽

I left a review last week but since then have spoken with the owner reggie. He assured me that my purchase had beem delayed he dod not know why. The purchase was for my wife and ahe was fustraded. I appreciate reggie contacting and finding a solition to my issues . I was not.fair with my review dy to my frustration. I believe this small buisness has great products and great customer service . There was just a mosunderstanding between me and the establishment . But since then everything has been rectified. Thankyou reggie for you help and understanding

Took my son in today because of course he wanted a pair of Jordan’s. He gets his love of shoes from me and I’m not of shamed of that, lol! I knew I’d be dropping some change, but when you have nice, kind people when that exchange is occurring and your kiddo is so excited, you kinda forget about that.

Hype Section is directly in line with today's sneaker and sports card culture. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and ownership (Carlos and Reggie) greatly value their customers. I have been treated with the utmost of respect when visiting which is about 4 times a week. I also own a business (online only) and Carlos and Reggie go out of their way to help me in my endeavors. Selection is always top notch, as the store is always up to date with product. I will continue to use Hype Section for all of my sports memorabilia and sneaker needs.
