Safeway Pharmacy

This pharmacy is the best kept secret. They answer the phone every single time I call. Few pharmacies do that anymore. My son gets 2 prescriptions for controlled substances that can be difficult to obtain, but that’s a supply issue, not a Roxborough Safeway issue. They have helped us find generic substitutes and are great about answering all our questions. A 15 minute wait in line is nothing compared to pharmacies in other places, and it is rarely that long of a wait when I go. Today I got a prescription that they could not fill due to a back ordered drug and they found the drug at another pharmacy, called me twice to communicate with me that they couldn’t get the drug themselves but found it somewhere else for me, transferred my prescription (with my permission) and the next pharmacy also called me and confirmed they were prepping my order. That is gold star service. Have patience with these folks because they are working hard and they will serve you well. It was a no brained for my family to transfer all our prescriptions here a year ago or so and I have been so happy with them.

I love this pharmacy. Very efficient and friendly staff. I moved all my prescriptions here some time ago and also get all my shots here. Considering the rampant growth in the area contributing to the increased volume at this store, they are doing an awesome job!

We've been going to the pharmacy for several years. They struggle a lot because of their size and they're different from the other Safeways. I think independently owned or something like that. Regardless they're always very helpful and try their best. Lately the pharmacists have been really excellent in their in person service and they'll pick up the phone if one of the others is busy.

Staff and Pharmacist are GREATEST! but good luck getting real meds that are pain related. This location can not get many meds or keep stock. But if you need pain meds then 5 stars.

Overall they are pretty good. One time they filled my prescription short.

Yet another thing Sterling Ranch has ruined. There’s usually always a line here since all the development. Expect a 15 min wait.

Don’t bother trying to go through the drive-through. You’ll be sitting there for 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledges you. I’m not sure why they even have one... I’ve had to end up parking and dragging my toddler into the store every time.

People there are friendly but it is a terrible pharmacy. Latest problem I had was when I went to pick up a monthly refilled medication there was a new approval from insurance required. I got that the next day and went to get it again and it wasn't ready. Next day I called to see if it was ready and they told me they didn't know and to try again later. Called again the next day to see if was ready and they forgot to fill it so were rushing it now and it would be ready in an hour. Showed up 4 hours later and it is out of stock and won't be available for another week. This is not the first time this has happened along with many other issues and now I'm done dealing with them and wasting many hours of my time each year. Signed up on Amazon for online deliveries and having my providers send it to them even if it takes an extra day or two at least I'll know it is actually going to show up and be available and not go weeks without medication at a time.
