Makai Crystal Shop

My husband and I love rocks, crystals, etc. I saw this shop on the internet and thought we’d stop in since we were in the area. Our expectations weren’t high but WOW—they have some of just about everything! Such a great selection from inexpensive little tumbled stones to big, unique specimens and everything in between. More towers and spheres than I’ve ever seen in one shop. I could go on and on. Just go check it out. And leave yourself plenty of time!

One-stop shop for all your metaphical needs with Amazing wears, beautiful jewelry, and unique finds!! The big plus, though, was the staff. The young lady that assisted us during our visit on 2/22 was super friendly, right amount of helpful, and made us feel warm and welcomed; absolutely LOVE this peace of serenity!! 💖🥰

High quality affordable products! Their petrified wood bowls are more beautiful in person than the photo's show. I purchased two - a bowl and a slab/plate. Shipping was fast! Well packaged. Received quickly. They are GORGEOUS!

A wonderful little shop. You'd completely miss it if you weren't looking for it. Huge variety of crystals, trinkets, bones, and even books. Even if you aren't into witchy stuff it's still a cool fun place to collect things from. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable of the inventory. 10/10 would recommend anyone this place.

never thought i’d find a metaphysical shop this high quality that is local to me in southern illinois! i went there for the first time a view days ago and was blown away by the selection..staff are super friendly as well. prices aren’t terrible at all! will be back soon🪴🌞🧡

Makai Crystal Shop is, far and away, the best crystal shop you'll find in Southern Illinois or the surrounding area. I have been to several places over the past year or so, and none of them even come close to Makai. The quality of the pieces they sell is outrageous. You simply won't find better specimens anywhere. Gorgeous pieces line their display cases and fill bowls. There are no underwhelming minerals to be found within their walls.

The people who work there are incredible, and every single person who works there is friendly and knowledgeable. They offer tarot readings in store, and they frequently have events and classes you can attend. You feel welcome in this place, and the energy inside is warm and comforting.

I guarantee you won't find just one or two things you would like to take home with you at the Makai Crystal Shop; you'll find many. If you have even a passing interest in minerals, you absolutely must visit this place. Highly, highly recommended.

They have lots of crystals jewelry and other witchy stuff. All around a great store and I love the free crystal chip you get when you pay cash.

Every time we go in the staff are so kind, knowledgeable and chill. The heat treated amethyst isn’t being peddled as “citrine” as is true, unfortunately, of most shops. This detail alone has me coming back for more! I’m delighted by the honesty! They also always give some surprise goody stone or bag of small stones etc. with purchases.

Fantastic local business! Staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! Brought my 10 y.o. son with me to the shop and he was utterly blown away by all the specimens. He was absolutely thrilled to be able to spend his birthday money on some unique additions to his collection, and I was happy that he was spending it local.

I love this crystal shop. The people there are very friendly and the shop has a nice array of items, not just crystals. But they have a very nice selection of small stones and larger ones. I've shopped there many times, and staff is always knowledgeable if I have a question, and I know the owner tries very hard to source things ethically, and price them fairly. Their prices are better than other places in So. IL. They have great hours, and I think always have a tarot reader on staff (not sure tho)...I love supporting a small business with good people. I encourage everyone to stop by and check it out!

Very cute and nice, the employee was nice, there's a variety of gems shapes and sizes, tarot cards, pins, jewelry, magnets. Prices are reasonable and it was overall great, I'm glad that I went there though I'm sure my wallet isn't. Honestly recommend it if you have time and or just love gems and crystals.

Super friendly and informative staff. It's small but packed with a great selection of crystals and cool rocks that range from very very affordable to huge gorgeous high dollar ones. Worth a stop for sure. Then again I never met a rock I didn't like.

I first found out about this shop at the Witches and Wizard's fest in Oct of '22. The girls working is were wonderful, so, of course, I took the time to visit their shop as it's not far from where I live. They have a huge selection and are so kind! All their products are beautiful and their staff is so helpful. They definitely acquired a lifetime customer here!
