AMVETS Thrift Store West Seneca

Amvets on Ridge Rd is my favorite thrift store. And Candy is such a friendly, outgoing employee. She always has a smile on her face and is very helpful!!!

Jeff is very customer oriented I spend a lot of money in there but the selection in my size is good and also buy a lot of books as I am avid reader the sale for labor day was greatfor labor day was great and they're priced very reasonable

Always so clean in here compared to the other Amvets, very hard workers here I can tell, Candy definitely is a great manager! Always so helpful! And the prices are amazing, one of my favorite stores.

Always find some great thrifting items here. The toy and video games selections are limited. If your looking for a find get here early as the pickers ravage this place on a consistent basis. Staff is awesome and super helpful. Prices are fantastic unlike the overpriced Savers and some items at Goodwill. Lastly, support your Veterans!
The only concern which the store has limited control of is a loud mouth flipper who probably is there daily when they open. He is always harassing the staff over the prices and boasting how much money he is going to sell flipping items. I can sense the staff does not like this guy.

This place is truly amazing! The cashiers are really friendly. The prices are the cheapest that I have ever seen. Gently used clothes and some of the clothes still have the original store's price tags. I will definitely be returning again.

Super friendly, very helpful staff. They know me by now and are always great with their suggestions. I travel out of my way just to go to that location

It often makes me mad that thrift store prices are so high. After all, they're getting the items donated. Sure, I understand business; the cost of employees, rent for the building, electricity, etc., but still peeves me to pay high prices for thrift store items. This particular AMVETS isn't too bad with their prices, and they also have a point program in which you can earn points and get $ off of future purchases. If you make a purchase, you will also get a $4 coupon off your next visit if you spend $15 (which is easy to do.) Watch the tag color specials and any other sales (for instance, as I type this review, they're having a $1 on a children's clothes sale. Can't beat that!) And Veterans, you will always get a 25% off discount. There is also a discount for students on a certain day of the week (Tuesday?) with student ID card. Staff is super nice and the place is always clean.

Store was clean and staff was friendly. Prices are way better than Salvation Army and Goodwill. First-time there and will definitely be going back

This is my favorite chain of thrift store - and I'm shocked there's only a few here, a couple in Tennessee, and one in Long Island! I love supporting the Veterans and they offer a round-up to donate extra. So if your bill is 11.45, you can round up to 12 even and donate the rest of the change - such a great idea!

Like all thrift shops you have to sift through to find the gems, and sometimes I'll find nothing and other times I'll find a ton. This place is great - I have gotten furniture, coats, tons of housewares, clothes, you name it.

Just this past weekend I found 4 baby outfits, a pair of sequins covered Sperry Top Sliders, like new pajamas, some maternity clothesline, and they had a HUGE selection of plus sized clothes for my friend - who found a bunch of stuff (usually that section is paltry - not here).

I can't recommend this chain enough - this is my local /closest one and I always donate to them. Other locations are larger but they all have marvelous finds.

Oh, and every Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and a bunch of other holidays - the whole store is half off!!

Great place to pick up things you need! All kinds of great stuff there for a awesome find for me and you! The staff was great, very helpful and nice, supportive in your search for what you need!

For the most part the staff is Gr8, found brand new and awesome bargains., I shop there a few times a week.
Live the day lady is the best!! and some of the nite.
The black gay guy is not so nice,he questions everything. I have no problems with sexual orientation, but when it comes to customer service and use that as an excuse, then I question things. He's not nice and really pushes his sexual orientation. Amvets should think about it. He protests a bad stigma there!!!
Watch out the kids that work there will use your points money, they don't even ask. They just so it, ya all should save it for the bigger items, tell them u don't want to use it. Dave it They are suppose to ask, happy with the days not so much the night.

I have always found great things at amazing prices at this location. The staff for the most part if very friendly and helpful. I absolutely love finding different treasures here

Very nice place. Cool place to hang on a hot day. Hot a Calvin Klein purple shirt fo $5 and a complemeting purple and wiite tie for $2.48. Also, I got a Veteran's discount on the purchase. Nice wokers and nice customers.

Great selection of kids and adult clothes as well as toys, furniture and other household goods. They hold period sales too!

I visit here frequently as I am always looking for nostalgic glass items and I do always find something at a giveaway price. I believe in our veterans and always donate more than I spend every time I visit.
