Experimax Sarasota

I've been carefully nursing along a 20 year old Dell laptop that suddenly quit on me. I tried a few suggestions from youtube videos, but I just couldn't get it back to life. I brought it to Experimax, convenient to The Landings, to get an opinion on whether the laptop, with "my life" on it, could be resurrected. Thank goodness for the friendly and expert service offered at this shop. Although my aging laptop experienced a severe memory failure, I was able to get it back the very same day, with my data still intact. I highly recommend Experimax for computer repairs. 5 stars to this very reputable business.

Brian solved the problem (on MacBook Pro) in under 10 minutes -- quick and efficient, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Went there with an issue with my MacBook. They suggested that I try a system update. Low and behold, it fixed the problem at no cost to me, but much respect for them.

I asked a neighbor if he could recommend a computer repair shop that was near Siesta Key. He said the best was Experimax at The Landings. He said he trusted taking all his Apple equipment to them. I took my two iPads in for service and was pleasantly surprised when Brian said he would have them ready in a hour. My neighbor was right. The service and Brian's expertise was great! Outstanding experience from start to finish. Competent, reliable, friendly, and FAST. Top shelf skills. Brian took my 7 year old laptop and made it like new. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Love love love this place…. I came in to get the back of my IPhone XS Max fixed. When I arrived I was greeted by a very friendly face. He assured me that they would be able to fix it and at a very reasonable price. I am beyond happy with the service and even happier with my brand new looking phone. Thank you so much!!!

I'm happy to leave a positive review for these great guys. I took my mom's iPhone there today after another place quoted her 70 bucks to replace the speaker in her earpiece.

Experimax took about 30 seconds to diagnose her problem as simply dirt clogging up the speaker and charged us $30 to clean it. My mom had her phone working perfectly again in under an hour.

Summary: Thee Sarasota Experimax store is super lovely and chill.
I just replaced my phone screen at another place a couple weeks ago and they promised “Apple Certified” parts… Well cut to 2 weeks later and the bottom of my screen stopped responding. I couldn’t even unlock the phone 9/10 times. So I went to Sarasota Experimax. The team (Alex and Brian) helped do the cheapest option first to see if it was a software problem. It didn’t work, so they tried out replacing the screen. They didn’t have me pay until I was satisfied that it worked. They showed me the first screen and there was a tiny wrinkle in the flat wiring. Brian explained everything that was going on and I didn’t have to pay super much for great service and the problem resolved. Thank you my dudes!

Alex and Bryan were extremely helpful in dealing with my MacBook. They were very knowledgeable on addressing the issue and staying in contact with me about what was going on. I would recommend them to anyone that needs help with any of their devices!

I have an older model of a Mac Book Pro and wasn't sure if it's gonna be worth it getting the screen, springs and DVD drive fixed.
I thought I give Experimax a try and sure enough, not only was it super reasonable, it also was done the same day. In addition ,Alex also found a couple other things wrong with it and fixed it for no charge!

I'm giving two "thumbs up" to this store! I have found the staff to be highly competent and friendly. Manager Alex was like a techno "bulldog" when it came to solving my laptop problem. He didn't give up until he found the solution. Alex was also more than helpful and patient as he explained things to me in ways I could easily understand. You won't be sorry if you choose to visit this place.

One year ago I wrote the review above and I'm still giving Experimax Sarasota a full 5 stars! Alex is an absolute wizard when it comes to addressing computer challenges. And he does it quickly and thoroughly without making his customers feel like idiots! In fact, every time I've gone to him, I always leave feeling greatly encouraged with solutions for my MacBook Air problems. If you're looking for excellent customer service, you will find it here.

Brian has been very helpful. I got my MacBook spilled with a drink and it’s toasted, but he explained the process thoroughly and being a professional. I felt comfortable enough here to purchase a pre-owned MacBook as well. Appreciate the help! Will always come back here for MacBook support!

GREAT store and staff. I dealt with Michelle and Alex regarding my sluggish macbook air and that nasty spinning ball and frozen screen. Alex literally spent hours with me changing settings and and explaining many things to me to show me how he fixed it and how I should use it. My computer works like it was just bought. Its a 2015. Bill only $50 bucks. So happy this store is now available. I give it 10 stars and Highly recommend!!!

These guys are great. Friendly, helpful and patient. Very clean store also. I told them I needed my computer done same day as I live far away and they went to another location to get the parts I needed in order to get it done for me in time. Highly recommend 👍🏽

If you have an Apple product and need support or help, this should be your first (and probably only) stop. They are very knowledgeable and have lots experience. They brought my 10 year old 27" iMac back to life following an upgrade by Apple that should never have happened. Staff is polite, efficient, and professional. Work was done more quickly than I might have imagined. Believe it or not this old iMac is humming like new. Thanks. I am impressed!

Amazing place! Great customer service. Brian was very friendly on the phone and then Brian and Alex were very friendly and helpful when I went to the store. Helped me find exactly what I needed without pressure to buy anything more expensive than I needed. Highly recommend!!!
